Great place to stay. Good location for walkabouts, clean rooms, good facilities (laundry, kitchen). Friendly staff. Value for money. Lots of activities organized for lodgers. We like the announcements. They gave me quite a shock in the beginning. Never came across such a thing before in our years of travel. The announcer's great. Unique. We even made a recording of his performance. Will probably be in Sydney again early next year. Wait for my email booking.

Very enjoyable hostel, friendly staff. The room was ideal, great nights out organised each night. The intercomm thing was a bit mad for me, first time hearing that. Would definitely go back and would recommend it to anyone.

Not clean, not safe.Ensuite but no soap or towel. I killed with shoe 2 big cockkroaches scuttling around floor; no spray available from front desk, so slept with clothes on. Bottom bed sheet only had to be returned to front desk on departure, not pillowslips or doonacover. 1 lift only working intermittently in 12 story building. people had been stuck in that lift for 45 mins previous day. Should be classified as substandard backpackers in on lineclassification. Never recommend it to anyone.

Very very basic accommodation but location was within easy walking distance of Central. (You need to bring ur own towel). Staff were friendly.

Given that it was a Backpacker hotel it was pretty much what could be expected - absence of towells - otherwise average to good rating should suffice. Location - close to Central Station - was the major attraction. Plus I always have problems with Sydney maps, I keep thinking in terms of Melbourne sized blocks.

Ok as far as basic goes, however, be warned a public address system is used in every room at regular intervals so sleep is not for long and heart attacks are a big reality :(
