Vibe Hotel North Sydney

I like this hotel. The location is great, across the road from Milsons Point station and within a short walk of several nice eateries and the harbour foreshore. Sometimes you'll get a room that's a little small, but the better rooms have great views.

Clean and fresh hotel with reasonably priced standard rooms, good location as it is close to the city without the hassle of parking in the city.

Vibe is a beautiful hotel, although the front desk staff are not overly helpful or friendly. It is opposite the harbour from the city but in a beautiful area, and quick access to public transport and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. The rooms are very nice and clean and comfortable. I only stayed there for the first couple nights of my stay in Sydney, and it was a nice peaceful place to begin my trip before moving into the city center.

Fantastic views of the harbour if you get the right room... cheaper rooms small but adequate... nice little bar with friendly staff.

Overall, a good hotel, but let down by bathroom design Shower screen was poorly designed. as a result bathroom got wet after having shower. Location is very close to station and close to the city, but there are no shops in the area. channel selection was not as much as expected

The room was pretty good but the bathroom was either much too small or badly organized! The breakfast was medium and the terrace floor outside was dirty and sticky ! The location of the hotel is great, outside the center but not too far!

My husband and I try as often as possible to stay at this hotel. We have stayed there several times and my husband for many, many years has worked very closely conducting functions at one of the other Vibe Hotels in Sydney.However, we prefer to stay in North Sydney for the location and the overall feel of the hotel and accommodation. We will continue to stay there. However, the last time we stayed (recently)I requested that if at all possible could we have a room higher up for the view because we loved it. On arriving at reception the young man was reading my request on the computer and indicated to the young woman with him that he would put us in Room ... She responded saying that he was "being mean" or something to that effect. I realised that he was putting us in a bad room because of my request. Guess what - it was the worst room in the hotel just above the entrance on the street which is what I realised he was indicating to her. He thought it was funny.I was disappointed in his behaviour which he obviously thought I was unaware of. I will still stay there but wonder what room we will be put in next time! Otherwise, other staff have been extremely courteous to us. Regards, Vicki and Paul Foster
