Urban St Leonards Hotel

Really good nice and clean, but if you pay for the room, I don't see why you have to pay $20 to park your car.Grrrrr!

I would definitely stay at Urban St Leonards again and I would recommend it to my friends. It was lovely and modern and the staff were delightful. Thank you!

About 1km from St Leonard’s railway station Check-in: No problems Room: Standard hotel room, good size, very modern, queen bed, flat-screen TV, desk, sofa. Window directly overlooked Pacific Highway and the cemetery beyond. Check-out: Tried to charge again for accommodation which had been pre-paid. Very apologetic when the error was pointed out. The most basic test of a hotel is: “Do you get a good night’s rest?” The Urban fails this test on two levels: Noise from the highway was loud and incessant – after the second night we invested in ear plugs to try and keep the racket out. Second, the bed was way too hard. This was not a firm mattress – this was HARD! Consequently, we didn’t sleep well, and woke with sore hips and shoulders. The cafe (along with the whole hotel “experience”) was “funky", verging on the pretentious. Would we recommend this hotel to a friend? No – the Urban St Leonards fails the most basic test. We did not get a good night’s rest.

Friendly, clean hotel with a great cafe. Was an easy 15 minute walk to the Nature Care College where I was enrolled in a course. Easy to find and had undercover security parking at basement level.
