liked all the above ,also felt secure with the elevator card system.Disliked not able to enter hotel with children through the Elizabeth St entrance . At night it is more convenient when getting off bus.

We had a great time in Sydney. The hotel location was perfect for anyone who likes to walk to sightsee. It was easy to get around. Thank you for making this place available.

Very Impressed The hotel was extremely pleasant. The room was always clean and there was plenty of room for unpacking. The bed was comfortable and there was a thermastate to control the temperature. The room also had a small kitchen like area (microwave, coffee pot, small fridge & sink). The folks at the front desk were always friendly and helpful. I was exhausted after 23 hours of flying in from the States and they got me into my room 1st thing after the cleaning crew came on. They were knowledgible of the area and provided useful information about getting around. The hotel is very convenient to various activities - all within walking distance (Darling Harbor, Circular Quay, The Rocks, Botanical Gardens. This would be my first choice if I were to return to Sydney. Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks Very nice convenience store right next door with internet service in the back. It is quite reasonable ($2.00 for 20 minutes vice $19 a day in the hotel). I used it twice a day for keeping in touch with folks back home. The people working there were also very helpful with directions and coupons for various activities.

The air conditioning was very old so only cooled part of the room which was not at the bed. Room quite small and lots of external noise from outside and internal noise from noisy neighbours. Windows did not open for fresh air.

Nice comfortable hotel within close proximity of shopping centre and ten minute walk to rail station and Opera House. Very courteous and helpful front desk and adjoining RSL League Club a bonus. The room housekeeping was not a good look. Urine stains on the top of the toilet bowl, under the seat, were evident on our arrival and still there when we moved out four days later.

The location was perfect as we were going to a show at the State theatre and would use travelodge again for the shear convenience and price. The room was clean and the bed comfortable.

Rather dated and in need of modernisation. Windows do not open ? is this legal? Good bar downstairs and food/cafe. Good laundry facilities. Cheap but would rather pay more for somewhere more pleasant and modern.
