Stamford Sydney Airport Hotel

When I contacted you online,my son and I were off to Europe the next day. I wanted a place that was close to the airport and comfortable. My expectations were exceeded in all areas. All staff from the front door on are friendly, courteous and very professional. Because it was simply a quick stop over, and then again on our return, we did not have the time or the inclination to use the facilities available. After 20 hours on a plane, all we wanted to do was sleep. I can vouch for the beds, as I usually wake at 6.30am, but on our return from Europe, I woke up just in time to have a quick shower and check out, i.e. 10.30am. Thank you for your hospitality. I stayed for one night after travelling from the Uk. I got picked up from the airport and taken to the hotel- it was nice not to have to find my own way. The room was great, it had a double bed and Tv and a great bathroom and it was really lovely after a long flight. Relaxing and comforting for the first night. The staff were helpful and nice even with my evening check in.

I thought the hotel was very well appointed and the rooms were very nice, however the 6th floor room that I was in was very noisy. I was woken up at 6am to the sound of people banging and moving things. Given that I only arrived at 2.30am and was absolutlely exhausted, it was not a welcome wake up call. The checkin process was nothing short of comical. The receptionist told me that I could only have a nonsmoking room if I produced written confirmation (fortunately I was actually able to do this). In summary, I think it is a very nice hotel with very nicely furnished rooms and good amenities, however the service is appalling (in particular, the night staff who have no idea about customer service). I was fortunate enough to be able to change rooms for my second night and managed to get a decent nights sleep. If you choose to stay at this hotel, enjoy it for the facilities and the nice rooms, but do not count on good service as you may be very disappointed.

A very nice hotel and compares exceptionally well with other hotels i have stayed. Its not a cheap hotel and the food and drink is very expensive however room facilities are very good and there is a well equiped gym and the outside pool is good. This is a good hotel to prepare for your flight to your onward destination.

The proximity to the airport was handy. The hotel is very clean and modern.

Very clean and good food and service We had one very bad night due to an all night party in the room next door which kept us awake for a lot of the night.

We were very pleased with our stay in your hotel apart from the comment below. Our only negative comment is that unfortunately the bed was not firm enough (it was too soft), so I did not get a very good nights sleep.

The location is good if you are in transit or need to be close to the airport to say catch an early flight. Or for an overnight stop over.

Thoroughly enjoyed stay... ice cube machines in the hallway are great as well as the fruit in the foyer! Buffet breakfast was awesome! Overlooking the airport it is surprisingly quiet in the rooms.

The rooms are quiet. This was the most expensive 3 night of our trip. Our room was not taken care the second day we were there. We came back very late that night 11:00pm after being out all day and nothing had been done to our room. Towels still on the floor and the room a mess. When we called to the front desk we were told it was too late to send anyone up to clean our room.
