Disappointing experience that left me quite helpless and upset: 1) Bought the passcode for internet connection AU$25 for 24 hrs. The internet connection was down the whole day. I have to keep calling the reception to check whether it is up. 2) I have problem connecting to the hotel network and I met the Manager on duty - Cyrus Fran (can't rem well) who is the least helpful. firstly, when i asked him whether the internet network was ok, he passed me the passcode and asked me to try at the work station at the lobby. Excuse me, can't he check? Next, he told me that he's no good with computer so he won't be able to help me. I asked for his IT support personnel and he told me that it's outsourced and it would take hours for him to come. i tried asking for the instructions manual for config purposes, he told me he doesn't know where that is being placed. I was really frustrating as i am a business traveler. I left the reception feeling so lousy. I couldn't access the internet throughout my 4-day stay there.

Very convenient that breakfast is included in the hotel rate. In other hotels in Sydney it isn't and they easily charge an extra $15 for that. Very helpful staff - no problems with early check-ins, which is tremendously important when you arrive from Europe after two days on airplanes.

we stayed in a King Deluxe room it was directly next to the highway and extremely noisey each night about 3-4 sirens and each time we had no choice but to wake up. There was a band playing somewhere and it to added to the noise.

Excellent Location within walking distance of most of the attractions. The rooms were clean and of a reasonable size(for 2 people only). Recommended...

Overall we enjoyed our stay with the room, facilities and service being very good. For those of us driving to the hotel it is a bit hard to access and the parking arrangements are not overly convenient (but okay once you get used to it). One negative was the traffic noise because we were on the second floor and also on Saturday nights they have an adjacent nightclub very noticeable base noise 'til the early hours.

Greeted by a very no-nonsense girl on the desk who was not welcoming. Thought of identifying her but have refrained. The rest of the staff were young and friendly and did try. I think we had trouble with the minimalist approach of the hotel but our room was clean and comfortable. The "garden view" was a bit of a misnomer. Not worth extra, at least not in the rain. It rained for 4 days and we were able to borrow a hotel umbrella. To a friend passing through I would recommend but not if you want creature comforts.

The hotel in itself was excellent but the location of our room overlooking the Darling Harbour road to the Anzac Bridge a bit noisy. Maybe on a higher floor would have been better. Can't complain because you pay for what you get.

We stayed for 4 nights before moving to another hotel. The hotel's location is great for conventions and other activities in Darling Harbour. The front desk was very freindly and helpful. Upon check in they upgraded us to a "suite" at no charge. The room lacked charm and comfort and the furnishings were below standard. There were red stains on the ceiling and the carpets were blue with white stains on them. I dare not guess what would have caused that? The bed looked like it had been made up with out changing the sheets. The front desk sent us a new one, but made us change it. The pillows were a real pain in the neck. The staff and location was great! We moved to the swissotel for the last 4 nights. That was fantastic!"
