Staff were very friendly and helpful. We have a toddler and asked to stay not in the smarter apartments with the mezzanine level, but in the older apartments across the road, which are on one level. The structure of this building is a bit old, the bath was a bit worn, the lift a bit cluncky, the aircon not so good etc, but it was still very clean. It was much safer for a young child. However, the smarter apartments are much nicer! If you do have a toddler, remember that there are stairs from the street up into both sets of apartments. (Once inside there are lifts, but you have to get your stroller inside first!)

Some people might find Darling Harbour too noisy a location with partying well into the early morning and especially at weekends.

Comfortable, Kitchen, Laundry, good location all for a fair price When you don’t need/want luxury hotel, but require comfort and amenities such as laundry and kitchen then Metro Apartments are your best bet. Price can’t be beat for this part of Sydney, very close to everything but not right in touristy "The Rocks" area. Traveler's tip on recreational activities Take a ferry from Circular Quay to Taronga Zoo and arrange Australian Experience pass with the Zoo in advance (don’t forget a camera for this). Also, Bridge Climb was great.

There is no disablity or pram access at the main entrance which is a bit tricky for customers with little ones.

There were 4 of us staying, including my daughter and grand-daughter,which proved a bit cramped.Rooms were nice and clean, but the place needs some upgrading.Staff were very helpful and obliging.Location is excellent and we had a beautiful view over Darlig Harbour due to very large window and balcony.

Mosquitos were a problem on night one. With no Fly Spray this made for a slightly irritating night. Room was old and run down with the exception of TV and Foxtel. Kitchenette and bathroom very small. No plug for the bathroom sink and soap dispensers leaked.

Only real negative was that Parking is a block away. Would stay there again in a bigger room. Cheers

Lovely stay, convenient location within walking distance to wharf & harbour cruises club. A little noisy through the night but very comfortable stay otherwise.

The facilities provided in the apartment are good and is in an ideal location. Unfortunately the decor and rooms are generally "tired". In need of some refurbishment but would possibily consider staying again.
