Good hotel in good location

My wife & I found the pillows far to hard as to call them barbaric & the shower recess in the bath is almost dangerous to someone my age (69) & I when I tried to have a bath & found no rails to help me from the bath & thought I might have to call for help to get out but somehow with a great deal of difficulty I managed to get out & the next night I went down to the pool showers where they were a proper shower cubicle & safe for older people

Highly recommended and this is not just a case of location location location. Yes it is only a few paces away from King street wharf with all it's restaurants, bars aquarium, wildlife world and ferry wharf but the Medina Grand is so much more than a great location. The staff really go out of their way to make you feel welcome and to attend to your needs. Attention to detail is what makes the Medina Grand Harbourside. The apartments and studios are well kitted out and always clean to the highest of standards. You will not be disappointed!!

Great location for exploring Sydney. We had a good stay at the Harbourside and would recommend it to anyone that is looking for a convenient location to the ferry, rail or bus routes. The kitchenette was just right for light snacks. The Lime Cafe made good Cappuccino....life is good..

I booked this hotel over the internet and I was given a number of options regarding the booking.The 2 options I selected,on arrival at the hotel,had not been allocated. When we enquired about this to the desk staff we were told the hotel does not even have King size beds and late check out was not available!! I do not understand why this are given options if they are not available? As I was attending a conference in Sydney and my Wife was to spend the day in the city,It was important to us to have a late check out. Also when booking I was under the impression we were booking a Deluxe room not a apartment! Perhaps the information on the Internet needs to be reviewed and updated.

We had a city view 1st floor apartment and so the balcony faced the flow of traffic heading towards the Harbour Bridge and coming off it. It was REALLY noisey on the balcony but the double doors blocked out the noise. Great location would stay again but would request a non city facing room.

We were a party of four with two rooms - we could not have asked for better accomodations, roomy, clean and having a kitchen was a big plus and we enjoyed the balcony so very much. The service was perfect. The help did everything we asked of them with extreme friendliness. The Hotel was in a perfect location - Darling Harbour - right across the street from the Aquarium and then the Harbour was right there - perfect!!!!! If I should ever return to Sydney I shall certainly return to the Medina Hotel. Thanks to the Staff for a perfect stay.

We were very happy. The service was excellent, the room was ideal and we would have no hesitation in staying there again.
