Mantra Parramatta

This is supposed to be 4 star hotel with parking and a restaurant/ bar. This is why I chose the hotel. We had booked for 3 nights but were only able to access the carpark on one night. The Restaurant was closed Sunday night and bar closed very early each night - before about 10.00pm. Inadequate Tea bags available each night in room - only two English Breakfast per night, although there were numerous coffee satchels. Twice I asked for extra tea bags and finally gave up on the third night. One bed apartment had an additional $40 charge to use the sofa bed - ridiculous! The double bed (not Queen) in our one bed apt was very old and saggy. I also understand that the studio rooms were very small. No Parking, no restaurant, no bar, silly additional costs and lack of facilities. I don't think our party of six will ever be back. A pity because we regularly attend race meetings at Eastern Creek and this hotel was quite convenient.

I believe as a guest of the hotel that secure parking within the hotel should be free of charge.

For a well known hotel like the Mantra chain of hotel, the one in Parramatta needs courteous knowledgeable staff at the reception. There was surprisingly no facilities to cater for business clients, who needs fax and scanning and photocopy services. Even more surprise, the reception staff does not know what is fax and scanning facilities. Very disappointed with my stay there.

The only thing i would have liked to see different is an upgrade in tv's. other then this, no problems at all

Very pleasant, comfortable hotel, everything you could possibly ask for, location excellent, will certainly stay in the Mantra Parramatta if i come back again to Sydney. Thank you, staff very helpful and accommodating.
