having stayed here 3 times in the past year I was disappointed this time I thought the general level of service in terms of rooms cleanliness and provisions in rooms was not as good as previous visits. There were no robes or slippers in any of the rooms, nor make up cotton squares etc. I would expect these to be offered in a hotel of this standard I also felt the prices charged for breakfast were very high and hence did not eat breakfast in the hotel because of this.

Got a great deal (fourth night free) on a harbor view room on the 11th floor thanks to my star wood membership; even though I have no real status we were on the preferred member level. Excellent accommodations, very comfortable bed, lovely view of Darling Harbor. Quiet, clean and very plush. Concierge services very helpful, able to change money at the front desk at a better rate than at the airport. Food in the restaurant rather pricey, but concierge directed us to more affordable, good food nearby. Would happily stay there again.

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left the hotel staff were fantastic. Whilst booking in the Receptionist noted that it was my husbands 65th Birthday and within a very short time, he was presented with a wonderful cake, chocolates and a bottle of champayne along with a birthday card signed by nearly every member of staff. We stayed at the hotel during a national holiday, and although the hotel was short staffed, you would never had guessed it because those who were working covered for their absent colleagues as well.

The service was good, but it is still a relativley expensive hotel by comparison with what you can get on specials elsewhere. I what like to put in a special thanks for the service and friendly attitude of Tony at the outdoor arrival point.
