Good Value Modern contemporary hotel. Rooms are well designed and comfortable, staff friendly and helpful. Location isn't the best - King's Cross has kebab shops, dodgy bars and sex shops - so its a taxi ride into civilisation. Pice was cheaper than more central hotels - so a reasonable compromise

This diamond is a real gem We were very impressed with our courtyard room. It had a huge deck overlooking the city, complete with wicker furniture. The room was very sleek and modern, and was a welcome change from the sterile name brand rooms. The staff were great and made some excellent dining & leisure recommendations. Everything about this place was perfect, and a step ahead from the two Marriott hotels in Sydney, which we also stayed at. Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay Make sure and get a courtyard room. The deck was about the same size as the room, which is unheard of at a hotel of this cost.

The decor is "cute" and contemporary. The bathroom is too small and not well appointed. It seems too expensive for what and where it is. Leaving aside the cost it is a worthwhile place to visit and stay.

A lovely surprise Great value meals just round the corner at the New York Cafe in Kellet St, plain home cooked food.

A Great Deal This hotel is in a funky neighborhood near a ton of great ethnic restaurants and cafes. The staff is accessible, friendly, and professional. The rooms are clean, stylish, and nicely appointed. A nice bonus is free access to a great gym around the corner. The harbour is an easy walk away too. Overall, a tremendous bargain for a high-caliver hotel.

Great location, and great hotel The Hotel in in Kings Cross, which is a great area for fun nights. It is 5 mins walk from the from the subway. Hotel was very nice, newly remodeled; and the rooms are very comfortable. Hugh recommended for a business traveler or tourist. Traveler's tip on nightlife Kings Cross

Nice modern hotel, staff are helpful. Internet if you need it is little pricey unless staying for a while and pay the single rate for entire stay. ($7/hour, $20/day, $35/entire stay) At your website price (roughly $185/night), is ok. Hard pressed to pay more than that though. Overall a good experience.

Sydney, King’s Cross Area The Diamant Hotel was very neat! I loved it. They also gave us a free room upgrade which included a great patio overlooking downtown Sydney with outdoor chairs and a table. Traveler's tip on dining About a block and a half away there’s this wonderful little restaurant called Tropicana that we really enjoyed. It’s low-key and good for a quick bite.
