Our only complaint was lack of direction on the part of staff to eating areas outside the hotel. A mere five minute walk from hotel to corner of Stanley and Crown had a wonderful variety of restaurant options! The hotel restaurant was great, but if you didn't want to eat there each night, this was right around the corner.

Arrived at the Bayview on 5/16/08,and stayed till 5/21/08. Time spent there was very nice. Staff was very helpfull and friendly. Location was very good. And we got to see alot while there. If I had a chance to visit again ,I would surely choose this hotel. Enjoyed,Enjoyed!! We also had a beautiful view of the city and bay areas. Thankyou Bayview. You made our trip memorable.

The saving grace is the location since we could walk to the botanicals gardens and other sights. The staff was so unfriendly and there was no smile on anyone's face. We had a standard room which had dull painted and broken furniture. This was more of a tour company hotel so we had to face hords and hords of people just to get a chance in the elevator.

Considering the price it wasn't bad. The carpet etc in the room was a bit worn and the window leaked a bit of noise but everthing worked.

I had a good service and got the things I needed if missing into the room (as a 3rd set of towels because we were 3 in the room and not 2). The persons were polite and the view from the room was really nice (harbour bridge and opera)... I will stay there again if needed.

We were happy with the service and would stay at the Sydney Boulevard again. The only problem there was no fan in the bathroom.
