The room is OK; could need more TV channels; about 10 minute walk to the Central station.

Nestled amongst groovy restaurants, bars and shops in cosmopolitan Surry Hills is the Medina on Crown. An inner city, 4 star property featuring fully self-contained apartments, styled around a lush tropical central courtyard. All tasteful and modern rooms have balconies with some offering city skyline views, although most are courtyard or street facing. Fantastic location on the city fringe with ample public transport facilities. Three restaurants on the premises cater to guest requirements. The rooftop tennis court is a plus and the sanctuary of the tropical garden and pool area is quite special.

The rooms have dated considerably since they were built in the early 1990's. The internet access is extremely expensive and there is no wireless. The daily cleaning was poor. This hotel is a great location - but it needs to be updated.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Medina on Crown Street. It was perfect. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was ideal for visiting my daughter as well as shopping and dining. I loved being out of the hectic downtown area, but still close enough to venture there a few times. The room and all its features exceeded my expectations. Thank you,E

We would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and would use it again if we ever go back to Sydney. It was in a great location in the city with security parking. This hotel was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. Otherwise, the hotel was perfect and everything that was promised. The price values for the money. "

Fantastic location on the city fringe with ample public transport facilities. It is not just a room but it is our home away home in the Sydney. The Difference between a hotel room and Medina Serviced Apartments is lifestyle space for the family and a great place to relax. The tasteful and modern rooms have balconies with some offering city skyline views, although most are courtyard or street facing. The rooftop tennis court is a plus and the sanctuary of the tropical garden and pool area is quite special. We didn’t want to leave the hotel, it was a great place. "

Great location, walking distant to some fabulous bars and resturants, however this hotel doesn't have a business centre for guests to use with internet access, differcult when needing to confirm flight confirmation. Pillows are very hard, but the bed was comfortable.

This hotel was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. We would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and would use it again if we ever go back to Sydney. It was in a great location in the city with security parking. A couple things to be careful about - the clothes dryer was an old apartment style and never really dried our clothes. We ended up having to lay the wet clothes out around the living room with the heater on all night in order to get them dry. Also, take an inventory of the "snack bar" items when you get into your room to be sure that they are all there - we got charged for items that weren't in the room to begin with. We were able to get the items removed from our bill, but it would be easier not to have to deal with it at the end. Otherwise, the hotel was perfect and everything that was promised.
