My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Windsor. We had never been to NYC before, and the staff was very helpful and had plenty of suggestions on shops, where to dine ,even how to ride the subway(which is very easy and only a few steps from the Windsor). The room was a little small, but very clean. There is not much room for suitcases and a lot of extras, but if you are traveling lightly, this is a great option. The location is great. You have so much to choose from being only a couple of blocks from Little Italy and Chinatown! When we go back to the city, we will definately stay at the windsor.

The entire hotel reeked of smoke. The room was extremely small with barely enough room to walk around the bed. The room was supposed to have a refrigerator but there was none when we checked in. We requested one and it was brought to the room and hooked up with an extension cord (not particularly safe).

Please please please, don't stay at this hotel. It was the worst hotel experiance I have ever had. Broken bed, awful smell, a stain on the wall, were just a couple of delights at this chinatown hotel. The price isn't worth it. The location, while I love chinatown it is not the place you want to stay, the hotel was not in a great neighborhood, to say the least. Seriously, take my advice and do not stay at this hotel. You will regret it, and you will most certainy want your money back.

The Windsor Hotel, this was a great value to stay in NYC. I have been traveling to NYC for many years and have stayed at many hotels This by far has been the best deal to stay in Manhattan. While the room was small for two adults, the price can't be beat. It was clean and neat and we even had a sweet view of Sarah Roosevelt Park. The location was fine, while it wasn't near a subway station, the walk was fun going through little Italy and Chinatown. The staff was excellent and friendly. Any questions that I had they were willing to answer with a smile. A few blocks away is Katz's Deli. The famous When Harry met Sally scene was filmed there. Some of the best Italian dishes are near the hotel and let's not forget the great Chinese food. There is great shopping some blocks away. Soho is near by as well as Canal St. Many deals can be had there. It was all in all a great experience and plan on staying there again for a visit.

bottom line the people are very nice but the room was SO small no place to hang anything and the smell in the room was something that was hard to take. I got candles at a local store but if I had to go again I would spend the extra $$$ **you get what you pay for**.

Loved the location. We could see bowery ballroom from our window (if we stuck our heads out). Rooms were very clean and small. Not luxurious by any means but totally reasonable and a great price. Seemed like it could get kind of loud with Happy Ending nightclub across the street but didnt bother us.

Since prices were rising all around the city, I thought I would look for a cheaper place in the city and I found Windsor Hotel. Their prices are fairly lower than others. Staff was VERY HELPFUL and nice.

There was no water for a morning shower and the beds are barely large enough for a six footer. Wall paper was handing from the walls and maintenance was pretty shabby. On the other hand the staff was friendly, there was convenient parking nearby and the room was neat. I don't need much wehn I am traveling on business but this room clearly undelivered.
