Warwick New York Hotel
65 West 54th Street - 10019 New York
Welcome to Warwick New York Hotel, a palatial midtown Manhattan hotel, perfectly located close to Broadway and numerous New York City landmarks. Commissioned by William Randolph Hearst in 1926 for his paramour, Marion Davies, to host their many Hollywood and theatrical friends, Warwick New York Hotel was originally built opposite the Ziegfeld Theater for this very reason. Warwick New York Hotel epitomises European-style elegance and is convenient for both business and vacation travellers to see New York City at its greatest. Warwick New York Hotel offers 359 oversized hotel guest rooms, 67 handsomely appointed suites (several with terraces), non-smoking rooms, marble bathrooms, special amenities, high-speed wireless Internet, dual-line telephones, minibar, in-room safes, Business Centre, Fitness Centre, valet service, 24-hour Room Service and full-sized meeting and banquet facilities. For dining and enjoyment, Warwick New York Hotel has recently opened its restaurant, Murals on 54, featuring innovative continental cuisine with international influences. Randolph's Bar, designed to closely resemble a living room rather than a hotel bar, with inviting sofas and armchairs, is an excellent venue to see and be seen in Manhattan. Throughout the years, Warwick New York has retained its revered name as one of the best New York City hotels and has always appealed to celebrities. The New York City choice of hotel for The Beatles, Cary Grant's Manhattan home for 12 years and even 'The King', Elvis Presley, made Warwick New York his home when he visited New York. A friend and I stayed here for a long weekend. The room was comfortable. We had a short electricity blackout at one point, and a problem with the tub drain stop, but those were promptly fixed. Great location for tourists. Beautiful decor and lobby, and best of all was the bar, because of the bartenders & their secret recipes, it's corner location and relaxing atmosphere.

Pleasantly surprised This was my first time at the Warwick and I choose it based on the reviews.I was traveling with my mother of 75 years, who has difficulty walking. The staff was very accommadating and always pleasant. I was very impressed with the location, just one block down and you're on 5th Avenue. The Warwich reflects a sophistocated charm and elegance that I haven't experienced from my previous stays in the NYC.I will definitely stay there again in the future.

My 3-night stay at the New York Warwick was far and above my expectations, and I am a skeptic. This 83-year old hotel is beautifully decorated in the period in which it was first built, including mahogony furniture and marble bathroom, elegant draperies and sculpted carpet.

Good The hotel is not that big and room size wasn't big either. However, not bad for New York standard. Good location, next to Fifth Ave.

This was a wonderful hotel experience. Bathrooms are small but very nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. Great location. I would stay here again - worth the price.

The first room we were given had a bad leak in the bathroom from the room above, so we were immediately moved to a new room with a better view. We were very satisfied with all the service and it's a perfect location.

Very Clean Hotel, Excellent Service We stayed at this hotel for one night in February as a 16th birthday present trip to New York for my son. The location was great for the money, close to Times Square and the theatres. The hotel was very clean, as was the room. The bathroom appeared to be newly updated, though it was small, as was the room. The carpets were stained, though the room was very clean and tidy. The hotel has the nostalgia of an older hotel, but it is kept very nice. Staff was extremely courteous and helpful. Valet service was quick and efficient. I would definitely go back. Great price and value for Manhattan.

Miniscule bathroom We needed to carefully bend to fit under the sink in order to use the ’facilities’in this bathroom. Even then we had to be careful not to strike an elbow or knee. It was horribly tiny and uncomfortable. It’s a shame because the rest of the room was pleasant.

The hotel has a good location. The hotel is really starting to show its age and it is in need of some interior painting.
