Dont eat there The hotel in general was nice and quite central. The only problem I have is with the food they serve.I ordered (room service) Mediterranean salad and the contents of it was literally 5 cherry tomatoes a cremated pita bread, 5 olives and a few bits of lettuce... oh and sour humus. Now I do not have a big appetite and for $15 plus $5 for delivery to your room...well it seemed extortionate and unsatisfactory. Also the following day we had lunch at the restaurant. I ordered a Monte Cristo sandwich... let me just say this...oil, oil and more oil...the sandwich came out dripping.

Enjoyed our stay, let us check in early before 10 a.m. , deeply appreciated after a red eye flight. Good food. A little noisy from the street, but the price you pay for a smaller hotel on and a corner room with a view.

Very roomy! Food in NY is basic. Dont dine out expecting fantastic food, no matter the price.

I've never been dissapointed by a W Hotel and the W Hotel, the Court in NYC was no exception. The staff was extremely courteous, the rooms were clean and very stylish, their beds are famous, the price was very reasonable, and the overall mood an atmosphere of the place was very swanky.

great hide away The Hotel is only a couple of blocks from Grand Central Station so easy to get to and fro to all parts of the city. The station is a great starting and end point. The hotel had all the modern comforts, Digital TV, speakers for your own ipod, and a great size room, with comfortable beds.

Ok, I have to say that for a room in NYC, the Urban Suite is enormous. Too bad it was also pretty gross. When I arrived, there were stains on the furniture, crumbs on the floor, dirty walls, and the air conditioner didn't work. The front desk staff was wonderfully nice, but too bad they couldn't also take care of the rooms. I expect a lot from the W chain and run-down furniture and dirty rooms just isn't it. Perhaps if I'd kept the lights as low as they were in the entry and the hallway I wouldn't have noticed....
