The Wall Street Inn

The Wall Street Inn

9 South William Street - 10005 New York

The Wall Street Inn is a lavish hotel located in the heart of New York's financial and business district in Downtown Manhattan, right next to the Stock Exchange on Wall Street and the South Street Seaport. The property is richly and elegantly decorated in a classic early American style and offers top-quality services and amenities. Despite its location, the Wall Street Inn, is not suited to welcome only a business-oriented clientele. Its proximity to such landmarks as the Statue of Liberty and Battery Park, makes it an ideal choice for all those who wish to visit the Big Apple and stay in a comfortable hotel with an elegant and refined ambience. The property features a stylish health club fitted with sauna, steam room and state-of-the-art cardiovascular and circuit training equipment as well as a business center. It features elegantly appointed rooms with two line speaker telephones, private voice mail, free high-speed Internet access and copying, printing and scanning services. Furthermore, fine in-room dining is provided by a partner restaurant. After a recent refurbishment, the hotel was redesigned to be accessible also to the disabled people.

My friend and I stayed one night at the Wall Street Inn and we loved it. It was very quiet and elegant and we enjoyed it very much. The room was clean and beautiful in fact I think the bed was about the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in. ...

For my first prolonged visit to New York I wanted a nice hotel and this was it. The beds were so comfortable and the area was very quiet after a long tiring day sightseeing. While the bathroom had no counter for toilitries, it was all beautiful marble w/great towels. Had a fridge and in room safe and the windows opened to the cobblestone street below. Nice continental breakfast. But a fresh pot of coffee needs to be made for the evening coffee/cookie service. Close to subways so a quick trip to midtown and a very fast walk to Battery Park if you're seeing Lady Liberty. Great restaurants behind the hotel and a Duane Reade not too far away along w/Crumbs Cupcakes on Beaver St. The mirrors needed a dusting along w/the thingamajig that holds the soaps/shampoos in the bathroom. Maid service was great. Front desk was helpful w/maps and directions but for the life of me I couldn't find the BofA that was supposedly 2 blocks away. Oh well. Still a very nice hotel. If you're looking to be away from the action, want a nice quiet place but still close to some attractions and the subway, this place is it.

It has a superb location in the heart of the financial district. It’s small, but very nice, clean and friendly. It’s a well managed hotel. It’s highly recommended.

This hotel is fantastic for all your travel to NYC. The subway and taxis are easy to access, there are several resturants nearby, right next door is a Subway Sandwich Shop. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The staff is nothing short of...

This is a very nice hotel, with free high-speed Internet, and a comfortable room (though I wouldn't stay there if I was paying!).

This place is perfect when you are working late downtown and you want to stay focused. It does not have the amenities of the midtown hotels but the price is right and the roms are rooms are wel appointed. Nice furniture. Very clean. Decent free breafast.

Rooms big for NYC, beautifully decorated, clean comfortable, lovely breakfast, near Seaport, quiet but with lively restaurant row next door. Helpful, friendly staff.

My wife and I recently spent one week at the inn, enjoying a nice room, a comfortable bed, the quiet surroundings and a great neighbourhood. Unfortunately, these positive details were not accompanied by the attitude of the staff in the reception and (partly) in the breakfast room. Far from being friendly, they did not even show professional courtesy, a quality so vital to their trade. Is this really too much to ask? At least it is indispensable if you want to reach the level of excellency... Troels Grønbæk Denmark

We stayed on a weekend arriving Sat. afternoon and checking out on Sun. AM. We did not take advantage of the included continental breakfast that is offered off the lobby, but it looked fine. The surrounding area is very quiet on weekends, so if you are looking for night life you need to travel a short distance by subway to other areas. Subway stops are conveniently located, as is a parking garage which is directly across the street. South Street Seaport is a few short blocks away. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again. The room was spacious, clean and elegantly appointed; the staff helpful and courteous.
