Friendly employees. Morning breakfast was good. We did the "Breakfast and Bubbly" if they still have it. Would highly recommend this hotel. Good proximity to restaurants and night life.

Sophistication w/o the Snub! Swanky boutique style hotel with attentive service in the center of Mid-town. I'm very particular as far as cleanliness, customer service and hotel amenities and I rate this as 5! I'll absolutely be back and would recommend this not only to a friend, but my mother! Location is great for access to all mid-town sites...if you're energetic you can walk to Central Park, Time Square and all the neighborhoods.

One of the best Hotels we have ever stayed and by far the best in Manhattan. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, the staff is courteous and VERY helpful and could even remember individual guests even on a short stay.

We were pleased with the hotel hospitality and cleanliness of the rooms. It was adequate in size but certainly not large rooms. Very comfortable bed. Bathroom was quite small and we had trouble getting cabs at times. Close to subway stops. Overall we would stay again at the hotel. Be sure to use the facilities since you get a charge for the fitness center and internet whether or not you use it.

It was a highly upscale venue, more posh and with more varied amenities than I would normally experience, but not so surprising for the area. The cost was much higher than I would pay personally, but since I was under a sponsorship, I did not worry. The in room supplies and expenses were very highly priced, but what you might expect of a hotel that caters to business travelers. Overall, it was a unique experience that I enjoyed, mostly because I would have never been able to afford it myself.

Excellent hotel This hotel was very fun and clean. The service was also very good. The front desk called us in our room to make sure we did not need anything. We asked for directions to our show at night, and they remembered us in the morning and asked how it was. The room was clean. We would definitely go back.

I am a very harsh critic of every & anything I pay money for, commensurate with the dollar value, so I was expecting yet another overpriced experience, which was quite the opposite from what I got! The concierge was beyond helpful, friendly, patient (my pal & I got into an argument over which of his 2 restaurant recommendations to choose) and overall perfect. We were immediately upgraded without even having to ask, and our room was clean, large & the bathroom did not disappoint. Their beds are legendary. Simple and subtly colorful decor; I felt right at home. I'm looking forward to another visit, this time w/ my new boyfriend (!!) the early part of next year, 2009. I will not patronize anywhere else!

Superb service Our stay at the Hotel Roger William was outstanding. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. The bellman even knew my name when I would return at the end of the day. The beds were extremely comfortable; more so than some of the 4 and 5 star hotels I have stayed in NY. My nieces loved the retro style. I would certainly stay again!!!
