Service was excellent. Room was comfortable but the bed was not ( hard ). Location was excellent, but for that amount of money we did not expect shabby chic, things were a bit worn.

Our family decided to spend Christmas in New York, and of course, we wanted to stay at The Plaza. When we got there, I was disappointed because our room was GREEN. I hate the color GREEN. We called back down to the desk and explained our dilemna. In a matter of minutes we were changed into another room. The service was all you would expect from a 5-star hotel. We will definitely revisit at another time.

The location is amazing, and for an afternoon cocktail and great people-watching, the Oak Room bar really can't be beat!

We often take day trips to NYC but this time we wanted to stay the night and treat ourselves to something really nice. Well the Plaza is the only way to go right? Wrong. The room was incrediably tiny and we even upgraded to a larger room. I would hate to see what the smaller rooms were like. we had to wait over 3 hours to get checked in as they were running behind. We didnt get a late check out OR compensation in any way. Upon FINALLY getting into our room.... the bathroom was infested with ants! The floor was covered in them. When we called down they said there want anything they could do about it until we checked out. We werent offered another room or compensation in anyway. Sad how the service is
