The Muse is a lovely hotel, with a very accommodating and friendly staff. The rooms are small but the space is well used and beautifully decorated in an Art Deco style; super comfortable bed, top of the line bed linens and a flat screen TV. There's a free wine gathering every evening from 5 to 6 and a free NY Times at your door, which I really appreciated. An excellent restaurant restaurant called District. It's between 6th and 7th Avenues, which makes it an ideal location--near both Times Square and shopping on 5th Avenue, near an F line subway stop, a few blocks from MOMA. I was extremely happy with everything about the hotel.

The hotel was in a great location, right off of Times Square. The staff was always willing to help out, look up different locations, and print out directions for us at a moments notice. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were cozy. We always had hot water. The complimentary wine hour was great!

This stay was a great experience. The bed was amazingly comfortable, the hotel was clean and the staff was so helpful. The front desk was not at all bothered with getting movie times and change for bills. The bell service was extremely helpful with bags, helping me with cab or car service, getting me where I needed to go. It's been a while since my stay, but to this day I rave about my stay there and the bell guy!

Finally, Great Service in New York City!. The Muse Hotel is located in the heart of New York. This is a smaller hotel that gives great service. In fact, last time I was there I had to make a run for the airport during a giant snow storm. Shortly after arriving at JFK the airport closed down. The Muse knew my flight information, called me, and gave me a free upgrade at their hotel since my old room was taken. That night, I ended up going out with the hotel staff and they showed me night life in the city!! Was the best night of my trip!! Finally a hotel that gets it...

1/2 the hotel is being rennovated. That information would have influenced the decision to stay. It is a very well decorated hotel. The front line staff were beyond my expectations. The magagement was below my expectation. The bathroom had some quircks. The water was off in the toilet, sinks, and shower. We called for help but in the time it took the engineer to show, we got it going ourselves. The handle on the toilet broke off...still, I suggest the hotel because of location and outstanding dining experience at various meals. Rooms are small, but a block or 2 from every theatre, a good trade off. The beginning felt really bad but each day improved 10 fold. Everything I mentioned was during the first day. Other than management (doomed from the start) the entire staff from the door to the houskeeping made me want to go back. Be careful, if you take kids, get the largest possible suite.

Very nice Great location. Staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms, while not large, are modern, and very clean. The daily wine service was an unexpectated treat.

The Muse was a perfect fit for our stay in NYC! The location was perfect near Times Square and many other activites. Our room was enormous by NYC standards and the staff was extremelely accomodating. We really enjoyed the morning coffee and wine happy hour as well as the wonderful delis nearby. The only downside was trying to hail a cab.

Visited NYC for a girls' weekend and had the most perfect stay. Loved everything about this hotel. Would definitely stay there again. The location to everything we wanted to do was perfect and the staff was really friendly. The wine hour was also a pleasant surprise and a nice addition to our stay.
