We had a wonderful time at the 414 Inn. It was the most comfortable, homey and cozy inn that could be in the heart of New York City. The management personnel were great and very, very polite and helpful and the housekeeping was impeccable. The bed was as comfortable as our bed at home. I can't wait to go back to New York City and only stay at the 414 Inn.

Not so good. Room was way too small. We could have gotten a larger room elsewhere for the same price. Great location. Front of building and lobby could use some improvements in appearance. Excellent bed and pillows. Small bath but ok. Staff could have been friendlier.

My daughter and I stayed at the 414 last summer for 3 nights. The room was large. The staff were great. The continental Breakfast was a pleasant bonus. We plan on going back again this year.

I LOVE this place. I stayed there last year and I'm going back this summer. It's cute, clean, and small. The room was perfect, not luxurious but nice and sparkling. The staff is great, I actually got sick while I was there and they were extremely helpful, they went way beyond their duties. Breakfast's pretty good too. And you can't beat the location.

I lived across the street from this boutique hotel for 2 years. As a New Yorker, I can honestly tell you this place is exceptionally clean, worth every penny and the staff will go out of their way to make your stay a pleasant experience. Although I no longer live on the block, my parents STILL go back to it and stay there everytime they're in the city. Trust me--you won't be disappointed!! The courtyard is definitely the highlight!!

Outstanding Deal I stay in New York frequently, normally at mid to high end hotels. I found this hotel to be a real gem. Excellent service and amendities. The location can’t be beat. Reservations fill up quickly due to the smallness of the hotel. Book early. The continental breakfast has a real continental feel, due largely to the fact that many europeans frequent this hotel. Traveler's tip on dining Located on 46th Street, restaurant row. Check out the Spainish Tapas spot near the hotel.
