Surrey Hotel

Thye hotel wes exelent and very confortable.

My first several stays at the Surrey was a few years back, in March, when the Allman Brothers Band played their annual 3 week run at the Beacon Theater. The Brothers always stayed at the Surrey. I figured if it was good enough for a bunch of old Rock legends who had to get up and go to work every night, it would be good enough for me. Great staff, especially if you are a return guest...they'll make you feel like family. The place could probably use a little face lift all the way around, but that's about the worst thing I can say about it. It has a charm you don't find anymore in hotels. The suites are quite large, and the kitchen is very functional. It is much more like an efficiency apartment than a hotel room. The studios are a drastic reduction in size, but comfy and clean. I love the place.

Since The Mark closed we have stayed at The Surrey and loved it. Friendly, helpful staff. Large, comfortable suites suitable for my adult son and myself. Great closet space which is important as we usually stay for two weeks. The neighborhood can't be beat. A block away from Central Park, close to the subway line, easy walk down to theatre district.

This was a really great hotel. It was very clean, friendly, and in a perfect location. It was also for a very reasonable price, considering its location.

+Great Upper-Eastside location close to Central Park. Nice spacious and clean suite, but furnishings a little tired and need to be cleaned or replaced.

The Surrey Hotel exceeded our every expectations! The rooms were clean and very spacious and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We were visiting our daughter for the weekend and the location was perfect with shoppings, museums, fine dining and Central Park all within walking distance. We definitely will be back. It's great to find a slice of "southern hospitality" in the Upper East Side of NYC!

+quietness, spaciousness, location plus good little kitchen...general overall quality of presentation and service..a great stay.

I always stay here as it feels more like a city apt. than a hotel, love the staff and the location the best, best! I adore this charming hotel. It may not be the newest but it is an excelent hotel, a European freind told me that all her freinds stay here when they visit Ny and stay for a few weeks. She does too.
