It is a new modern hotel. Rooms are small but well acoustically isolated, the bed is comfortable, linens clean, good pillow, nice bathroom, flat screen TV. Perfect place to spend a night or few if you are planning to spend most of the time outside. Great location.

What can i say.. The Hotel was extremely convenient for us tourists as Chinatown and Little Italy were in walking distance. In 1 or 2 blocks down from the Hotel you can dine at one of the many Italian Restraunts in Little Italy. Walk down a 1 or 2 more blocks you reach ChinaTown where you can eat the best Chinese food in town. I highly recommend reviewing the Zagat ratings before you go dining at the Restaurants.

Recommended Four of us (two couples) stayed in a room there. The room and the beds were small, but it was clean, and the location was excellent. We were on the fourth floor, and couldn't hear any noise. I'd both recommend it and stay there again. The location is much better than midtown (imo), and the value was great.

It is a nice location right by Soho, Chinatown, and Little Italy. It has a friendly staff and is a pleasant, small hotel so you have better service. The rooms are a bit tiny and there is not a lot of walking room or storage space for clothing or luggage, however.

Perfect location Great location. A little noisy as my room was right next to the elevator, but given the amount of time spent in the room it was no big deal. Great deal. Traveler's tip on dining Raoul’s on Prince.

Overall a great experience. July '05 stay was a lil rainy, but staff great at check in. Beds are comfy; bathroom modern and clean. Rooms kinda small, but great for NY price. Location a block from Little Italy/Chinatown -- great cheap food. But be aware that this is a super small boutique hotel with 4 rms per floor, one elevator (we took the stairs most days), and small lobby. Service loses points for scheduling an art show during our stay without notifying guests.

Expensive but isn't New York always Some excellent restaurants nearby (Little Italy, Chinatown, Soho and Greenwich Village) - you can hardly go wrong with the variety of food. Great shops and galleries and street markets all within walking distance. You could spend four or five days in this area without seeing any other part of New York and feel satisfied with your visit

If you're staying downtown, this is a clean, safe & friendly option. The rooms aren't large, but they're clean & nicely furnished with fine extras like flat screen tv. Good bathroom, too. Neighborhood is Little Italy/Chinatown. Mulberry St. & its restaurants are 2 blocks away. Chinatown shopping surrounds the place. Bus lines and cabs are easy to come by. Safe & fun to walk up/downtown on Mulberry (or any other street.
