I chose the location because I had been to New York many years ago and loved the vibe of the Village so thought this would be a great place to stay for 3 days in New York with my partner and teengage son. So a one bedroom apartment with sofa bed seemed to be the best option offering the freedom to feel like you're actually living in the City and with more room and better value than a hotel.

The Atrium Suites are ideal if you are willing to be on your own. This is not a hotel, this a short-term apartment rental. Laundry facilities down the hall; I was in a one-bedroom apt which was more than adequate for my stay and roomier than a one-room hotel room. Clean linens were available upon request. The apt was comfortable and the location was great. I really felt "at-home" and not like I was staying in a hotel. I definitely plan to return the next time I am in New York.

location, location, location, at a great price what more can i say. We had a great stay over January 2006 the only downside was, one day the lift broke down for a few hours and we had to carry all our shopping we'd splashed out on up three flights of stairs.

BE WARNED. This is not truly a hotel. The rooms are part of a large dorm-like residential building with full time residents.

This furnished apartment rental has an awesome location and was a good size with good closet space, functional bathroom and clean towels and linens. However, there was no information nor any service available to us as guests - no toilet paper, no information about where we could empty our garbage cans, no fire safety information, no dialing instructions or cost information about how to use the telephone, etc. The doormen were always there, but never offered any assistance and when asked for assistance, could not be understood in their response. I would consider staying here again because the location was great, but - I would bring some cleaning supplies as the floor, dishes and bathtub were dirty. The final problem was that the checkout time is noon, but the electronic keys were changed at 11:30 causing us to be locked out of our room just as we were trying to get our things and get to the airport. Very frustrating!

I disliked how gross this place was. I had to stay here will my apartment on the Upper East Side was getting remodeled. This hotel certainly has NO SUITES. I am accustomed to surrounding myself with the finest and this was not it. If you would like to be carried to be by insects this is your place.
