My 19-year-old daughter and I just got back from a four day trip to NYC and loved our stay there including the Sheraton at Times Square.

Good location, close to many stores. I could hear the conversations of my neighbors in my room very clearly.

We are starwood gold members and spent 24,000 points for two rooms on New Years Eve this year to stay in a HOT, SMALL, DIRTY room.

Avoid At All Costs!!! The registration desk person I dealt with was extremely rude. The room was tiny, uncomfortable and very overpriced. I expected a whole lot more since I paid a lot per night to stay at this horrendous place. Sheraton should do us all a favor gut the whole operation (except for the concierge(s) who were excellent)and try to get back the solid repuation they once had. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

The staff at this hotel provided the worst service I have ever experienced! The staff was very rude and stated that our room request were just that...a request because we booked through Yahoo travel. The front desk personnel "Louise" gave us this information and treated us as if we were less than human. The running joke throughout our stay in NY was that any rude person we encountered must have worked and been trained at the Sheraton. I recommend staying across the street at the Sheraton Twin Towers! They were much more friendly and accomodating!

Great hotel and staff. We had never stayed in New York before, but read the past reviews on yahoo travel so we took a chance. We were not disappointed. The location was perfect for walking to Rockefeller Plaza, Today Show, and shopping. The staff was great. They helped with restaurant choices and even how to handle the subway. The hotel room was nice, nothing spectacular. Ray's pizza almost across the street was great!
