Room size was pretty good for a city hotel. Facilities were basic and a decent value overall. Room carpet and bathroom grouting really could use some work!

Very good hotel, great location Only complaint - breakfast in the downstairs restaurant (Rare) was very limited. Fresh fruit would have been a welcome addition. Traveler's tip on local attractions Walk over to Third for provisions or breakfast. Many interesting little shops.

+Location. Size of room. -Room was clean, but needed more attention on hidden places, such as under the bed or sofas!

The service in the Shelburne is super, everyone is helpful and friendly, making you feel like a welcome guest. The location of the hotel is ideal, at 37th and Lexington, a quiet area of town that is close to everything noisy. Also, the one-bedroom suite is a great value, nicely accommodating a family.

An excellent hotel. Service was outstanding and I was very impressed. The The "Rare Burger" joint downstairs was very tasty with the best sweet potato fries I think I have ever tasted! Location is a little bit quiet, but we enjoyed that as it wasn't around the tourist trap of times square
