Beautiful setting, overlooking the harbor and Statue of Liberty. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. After a hectic day in the city, this hotel is located in a very serene and quiet location. An outdoor bar overlooks the harbor.

This stay was at the end of an Atlantic crossing on the Queen Mary II. THe Hotel flubbed the car service pick-up at the dock, but still tried to bill me for the ride. The room had a huge, ugly stain on the carpet. It took three tries to get it dealt with. This Liberty view room went for a a lot of money but had a cheap, dime-store "telescope" at the window. The staff was unable to "freshen" the room after nap and quick shower before lunch. The bed sheets were ripped and stained. This is a fairly new property and has million dollar apartments on it's upper floors as so many new RC properties. The food in the lobby cafe was wonderful with attentive, friendly service. This location is a bit out of the way but close to ground zero and wonderful Battery Park.

Ok, you might pay over $600 on high season, but it is worth it. the service, the emplyees, the place, its exelent. I cant say anything negative about this hotel. If you see something that you dont like, talk to the front office manager and he will make sure that it changes. If you feel the need of a NY hot dog, that is in the street, you just tell them and they will make sure you have it. AAAAA+

very nice hotel, friendley staff, very close to statue of liberty but I found it to be quite a ways away from other attractions. We had to use cabs quite often. We walked where we could but you could only walk so much.Cabs we pricy to use all the time.I think next time I would look for something closer to all the other attractions.

Great location Look, you can stay midtown and walk to the theater, but where can you stroll along the Hudson and see the Statue of Liberty, go to Battery Park with the kids and hang out in the bar with a gorgeous view of the Brooklyn Bridge? It’s what relaxing in the city is about. Pricey but...aren’t they all? Good sized room and great shower. Traveler's tip on local attractions See a comedy show in Greenwich Village

We had a wonderful summer weekend stay at this gorgeous and understated hotel. The area has a relaxed, neighborhood feel, and is more relaxing than the bustle of midtown. We had a fab view of the Statue of Liberty...The concierge halped us choose a restaurant, and the morning in room breakfast was divine...A great way to enjoy all that NYC has to offer, but stiil relax in the evenings...

This hotel is great. Though not as centrally located as the Central Park Ritz, its service and amenities and relatively quiet location make it a fantastic find. Also, easier to get reservations and last minute specials. The showers are so great, you will try to squeeze in several a day. Also, the concierge is extremely helpful and tracked down an obscure clothing line for me. The room service menu is delightful as well and the hotel service is universally impeccable.

The Only Way to Travel The Ritz-Carlton was fabulous. The views of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island were right outside our window. The room was plush and luxurious. Bulgari amenties in the spacious, marble bathroom added to the overall top notch appeal of this hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and yet very professional. A rare combination. I would reccommend it to anyone.
