This hotel is well situated - close to Maceys, Times Square and the Empire State Building was a great view from our windows. Staff were very helpful. A couple of extra elevators wouldhave been helpful although the hotel did warn you in the elevator of the busy times.

Excellent location for my purposes, near a subway station and several blocks from the International Center for Photography and easy walking distance from time square. Full-sized kitchen, flat screen t.v. and comfortable bed. Excellent value for the price.

location is perfect for everyone who wants to see as much as possible in NYC. Just few blocks away from Time Square, Empire State Building, Fifth Avenue, and Grand Central. lack of 110/220V adaptors was a little schocking, I bet there are many toursits from Europe asking for adaptors. On the other hand staff did nothing to help us solve the problem. We had to do it ourselves. Breakfests with poor selection of food, a week of sausages and eggs is no fun.

The location is great. It's not in the middle of all the tourists, and it's very easy to get around. Subway access is right there. The rooms are wonderful. Beds are comfortable, with down bedding and fluffy pillows. Granite in kitchen and bath. Stainless in kitchen. Very, very clean. Breakfast is wonderful, with eggs, bacon, oatmeal, pancakes/waffles -- everything! Bar is cozy and drinks are good. All you could ask for, except room service and a pool. Not disappointed at all!!

pros: location, staff, comfortable roomThe location was very good. Directily in between Times Square and Macy's. The room was a great size. Nice that it had a bar for eating or using as a desk, not to mention it had a kitchen. The in-room...

To all visitors I must recommend this hotel due to its proximity to mayor tourist attractions´ but it´s also ´located at a quiet area. Important tip to visitor: It´s 1 block away from Bryant park subway station, 2 blocks from Time square, four blocks from 34th street shopping area, One block from 5th avenue. And if not close to central park all mayor transport is just a few steps away. Kids, Executives, Leisure Travelers are welcome. Rooms are overall clean and fully equipped, but restaurant must improve buffet presentation, cleanness of area and waiters outfit. For the most part the hotel is clean but some small details are missed by the staff. Staff is friendly and willing to help always. This is a Great pick for a comfortable hotel with great views and medium budget travelers.

My family and I stayed in this hotel two days before Christmas 2007 and we had a great time. The location was perfect since my kids like to skate and we were just across the street from Bryant Park. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was a good deal. We will be coming back at least two more times in 2008.

this is the worst Marriott hotel i have ever stayed in, as far as service goes. we stayed here for for 3 nights and everyday we either called the front desk or stopped on our way out to change or complain about something. We are not picky people however, housekeeping came when we didn't want them to and when we canceled them for the next day they came again. On top of that they thought we were checking out a day early so they tried to come twice in one day. i happen to be in the room at the time and the woman debated with me what day we were leaving. In the amenities they do say high speed internet, good luck getting that in your room....half the time you couldn't connect and there was ALWAYS a very low signal. Yes I'm sure you could plug in however there was no cord in our room and didn't want to complain about yet another problem. we couldn't wait to get out of here and switch hotels for our last night in the city. Let's just hope Marriott marquis is much better!!
