Better than I expected.. A+ After reading other reviews, at various sites, I didn’t expect much from this hotel. But we wanted to be close to the Empire Casino to see a band, and not many hotels in Yonkers. I thought it was nice, it looked like it had been renovated in the last few yrs, furniture was modern and beds were comfortable, and it was very clean. I liked the rustic setting on a hill, and our windows opened in the rear, and then the pool was beneath us in the front. Asked for a Fridge, and they brought it right up to our room at no charge. Only stayed overnite, so didn’t get to use the pool or restaraunt, but the staff was very nice and we were satisfied with our room... I would recommend it and stay there again! Traveler's tip on local attractions It is very close to the Yonkers Raceway and Casino, and a cab ride is cheap

not surprised i would recommend this hotel only if you were going to stay for a day or two,nothing too brag about.very dissapointed with the cleaning,room was ok but cleaning forgot to clean the bathtub!(yuk)told front desk but no upgrade. to top it all off found dirty magazines in between mattreses so again you know they dont look into the beds as good as they should. staff is very nice and helpful proably because of all the mishaps that goes on in the hotel.
