Very clean hotel, but very unclean surroundings. The staff could be a little more serviceminded. Exemple: When the water was sold out in the vending machines, they told us to go to the deli-shop 2 blocks away. They should be able to provide extra water at the desk. On the whole: a surprisingly nice hotel in a rundown neighbourhood!

+ Location and value for money are the biggest highlights - Walls are so thick that you can hear everything in room next to you. sometimes noise from subway can be a problem

great stay My boyfriend and i stayed there this past january and was extremely pleased with the service and overall were satisfied the with comfort and cleanliness.. i think it will be one of our new favorites for our little getaways and of course you cant beat the price...

Will use it again! This hotel for the weekend was great for the price. The room (a little small) and bathroom were very clean. We didn't stay in the room long but I will use it again. Negatives, No parking lot but each night we found parking in the street w/no problem. No fridge in the room, but we didn't request one either.

Suggestions to make our room more comfortable. This hotel is located in a re-hab(the area surrounding the hotel will be developed/updated in 5 years at the least, and it will be THE perfect hotel location) area of Long Island City, Queens, one block from the 39th Avenue subway stop (if you need to go into Manhattan). There is a little diner one block down 31st Street that serves a pretty good breakfast and lunch.If you have relatives in Astoria, this is a great place to stay.
