Night

132 W 45th St - 10036 New York

Pied-a-Terre living at the core of the Universe, Times Square, NIGHT has a striking presence in a black and white motif embodying the mood and sensuality of night. NIGHT's bold design and stark contrast of light and dark mimics the vague shadows that only moonlight casts. Daylight's sensibility leaves and darkness enfolds our nakedness of being. Opulence knows no shame at NIGHT. Food tastes finer, wine richer and fuller, senses seem oddly sharper at NIGHT, yet faintly hazy around the edges. And at the end of the night, the finest linens caress our skin as we drift into slumber at break of day. Newly renovated 72 room upscale boutique hotel. Located on 45th Street between 6th and 7th Avenue in NYC Sexy and luxurious unpretentious and comfortable

Great hotel We stayed there for 3 nights. The room was very comfortable as well as the bathroom. It was a good sized room for NYC. The closeness to Times Square was great (until I got sick of the crowds). Very easy walk to all the broadway theaters. The only issue for the hotel is the foot boards on the bed make for an interesting night for people over 6’ tall. If you need to stick your feet out the ends, then you will not be comfortable. Hotel staff was very nice. When we asked about a room without the foot board, they upgraded us to a larger bed and room to try to help. They were great. Even with NYC prices for hotels, I feel we got our money’s worth from our stay. I highly recommend it to anyone. For local food, do NOT eat at Connelly’s across the street. I got fish and chips (fries). The fish was Mrs. Pauls (not fresh) and the chips were Orida Seasoned Fries. Definitely not the hand-cut chips advertised in the menu. Tiny!! The hotel was very nice and chic. The artwork on the walls and decor was very contemporary and unique. But I do say this hotel isn’t for anyone who is cluster-phobic. I couldn’t believe how small my room was. Don’t get me started on the bathroom. I could stand in the shower and brush my teeth in the sink all at the same time! But because it was very well kept it made up for it.

Too small and dark The black color scheme is overwhelming and only seems appropriate at nighttime. The room had no drawer storage. The beds were short and the sheets didn’t fit. However, the hotel was in a great location.

Very nice for a short stay for 1 or 2, great location This hotel was high "tech". Good eye appeal, great location to times square. Rooms are small but comfortable, more than 2 would be really tight. No dressers (at least my room)if you like to unpack. Very quiet even though its in the middle of the action. Great attitude by staff and nice simple breakfast. April 2008 stay.

It was everything I wanted it to be-amazing! The staff was extremely accommodating and the location was great for what I came to the city for. The decorative motif of the hotel in a whole was to the tee just like the pictures-so much fun. Traveler's tip on local attractions 50 yards from Time Square and you can walk everywhere in 10-15 mins. This location is quiet dispite the area. Don’t expect lots of square feet.

Great location for little known hotel Although the locals were not too aware of this hotel, you could not get a better location. Just steps away from Times square and walking distance to theatres,Rockefeller center, and 5th avenue shopping. Clean, seductive, they even kept the black and white theme for the holiday decor. Great romantic hotel. Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay Know where you are going before you start out. We came up on locations much quicker than we expected. If you are a strong walker you can walk to almost anywhere. Local watering holes the Half pint and Jimmys corner are two great but different experiences. Loved the city!!

Great Location, Terrible Bathroom Great location, steps away from Times Square. Room was very clean, hotel provides free continental breakfast & hotel staff very friendly. If there’s any reason why I wouldn’t go back it would be because of the bathroom. It is soo dark you can barely apply make-up or shave. Plus, the shower glass only covers half the shower so even if you put the nozzle as far down as it goes, water was pouring out of the shower onto the floor every time we used it. There is no fan/ventilations system in the bathroom so mirrors would stay foggy and soaking wet towels (from large puddles on floor) didn’t dry easily. If you can get a decent price for the room and don’t mind a dark, wet bathroom, I would recommend Night.

Great Hotel for a getaway weekend! We spent a lot of time looking for a hotel and we finally found a great one, a great hotel for couples, since rooms are not that big, but they are cozy enough and is all you need when you are in NY. Excellent location, walking distance to everywhere in Manhattan, there is nothing as spending the entire day out walking and enjoying and coming back to a great hotal, the staff was really friendly, specially the concierge!, and is was everything we were expecting and more! I greatly recommend it.
