Good place to stay if you’re going to be in NYC This hotel is right by LaGuardia Airport. We arrived at 9:30 am, check-in was 3 pm and the hotel was able to get us in a room by 11 am. On our way bak home I forgot my cell phone in the room the driver of the shuttle called it in over the radio and when we got back to the hotel they had my room key already available so that I could retrieve my phone. After that the driver drove me back to the airport and I still made my flight. Traveler's tip If you are going to NY and you want to anything in the city and you stay at this hotel have a lot of cab fare or take the trains.

Very nice staff! The place was clean. The staff was very courteous and friendly. Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks Take the subway into the city. Also, Shea Stadium is within reasonable walking distance.

A Real Surprise Last week we had occassion to stay at the Marriott at LaGuardia Airport, NY. We moved from another hotel because we had a very early flight the next morning and wanted to be close to the airport to prevent missing our flight. We expected an older beat up place that would be adequate for the night. We were very pleasantly suprised by the reality. The lobby was large and fully updated, marble floors and complimentary coffee available 24/7. The staff at the desk courteous and extremely helpful. They went out of their way to find adjoining rooms. The room itself was perfect. Large flat screen TV, coffee maker in the room and new furnishings. The bathroom was upgraded as well, with granite counter tops and modern bath fixtures. The hotel has an upscale steakhouse restaurant and a more casual sports bar and restaurant and a gift shop. All in all, a very pleasant surprise.

Great place - would definitely go back I was reluctant about staying so far from downtown Manhattan, but it was a great experience. For a very reasonable price you can take the bus (right outside of the hotel) which takes you to the subway and right into downtown Manhattan. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay at this hotel again the next time I go to NYC. Traveler's tip Would definitely recommend the bus to the subway. It is an easy trip and drops you off wherever you would like to go.
