Great Hotel to stay in Hotel was quiet even though it was at the airport. Staff was very friendly and accomadating.

For the independent traveler If you don’t need hotel staff support this is a good hotel. during a four day stay my room was never cleaned. i left the hotel each afternoon and perhaps there is no afternoon cleaning staff. i requested and was peomised a cleaning each time i left the room but it never happened. Fortunately for me though my room wasn’t dirty anyway and i have no problem making up my own bed. Traveler's tip on local attractions There are many good restaurants in the small new jersey towns around the airport. fortunately i was with someone who knew them .

Very Helpful I had a stop-over in Newark after a flight from Europe and a flight to Tampa and home the next day. From the shuttle at the airport to the employee who got me a cup of real coffee the next morning, everyone went out of their way to make things easy for me. I was exhausted and they made me very comfortable. I was able to get on line to notify family that I was on my way and slept like a log in the bed after a bath. I was in good shape when I took the shuttle back to the airport the next morning.

Will stay at Marriot again After being bumped by Continental (which we will never fly again), we went back to the Marriot and were allowed to stay until 2pm.
