Great Location, well appointed room, helpful desk staff We had a great stay. The location is 1/2 a block off of 5th Avenue, so if you are a shopper, you will be in heaven. The desk staff was really helpful with maps and suggestions for restaurants, nail salons, and subway routes. The room was very nice and decently large for a midtown hotel. The business center is accessible and the bar is quite nice. We did not know there is a free continental breakfast and free cappacinos 24/7; these were quite nice. The only negatives were relative minor- the room lighting is somewhat dim, the closet is small and not full length, the housekeeping staff did not replace all of our towels the second day so we had to request more and tip. But I would definitely stay at the Manfield again. Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay Ask for a room off the street- the street noise can be loud.

Good hotel, great location Room was good sized. Service was good,but during a several hours power failure that the hotel suffered, staff was not helpful. It is a good Midtown alternative, but it is not an extraordinary one. Nevertheless, I would go back. Traveler's tip on dining On the same block there is an Irish pub; try their ribs, they are just great.

Good Location Located on 44 St w. between 5th and 6th Avenues. Comfortable rooms, good cold breakfast, helpful staff. Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks Take airport bus to Grand Central Station, easy walk from there.

Great location This hotel, between 5th and 6th avenues and 10 short blocks north of the Empire State Building, provided a great location for the Broadway shows and other attractions we came to enjoy. What was not within walking distance was easily accessible by Grey Line bus, taxi, or subway. The room was small, but fine for two, and was very clean and comfortable. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. I’m sure there are less expensive options if economy is the goal, but this was a great place for a special visit to New York.

Awesome! This was the second stay at The Mansfield hotel. My boyfriend an I totally love it, it’s so convinent & close to everything. You can easily walk from central park it’s about 15 minutes. 5th avenue is like 2 minutes away and times square is maybe 5! The rooms are small, but it’s okey, the thing is that it’s very clean & the design of the rooms are very nice. Traveler's tip on dining If you want to eat fancy och good food you should ask the concierge he was great and helped us alot, make sure u tip him and he’s going to be even more nice! ;)
