The Intercontinental Barclay New York is probably the nicest hotel I have stayed in during my visits to New York. From the grand lobby to the comfortable and well-appointed rooms, it was delightful staying at the Barclay. It is understandable why the Barclay is a five star property!

The Barclay New York is situated near 5th Avenue and only a short walk to Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Grand Central Station, and Central Park. The room was immaculate and the service was prompt. The only negative was that the fitness center was under construction; nevertheless, you can fulfill your fitness needs by walking the beautiful city! The next time that I visit New York City, I will definitely consider this establishment. I recommend it to all.

Room and fitness center as well as lobby dining was great. I could not print out my boarding pass however, using the computers in the lobby. The business office offered to do it for me though!

The location was perfect, just a couple blocks away from 5th Ave and the rest of Midtown. Everything in Midtown was within walking distance and a subway station was just two blocks away. Rooms were well-appointed, clean, and well-kept with the standard amenities.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Intercontinental Hotel (Barclay) in New York. It's on the East Side in Midtown, several blocks north of Grand Central Station. The room was very clean and well appointed. It was not especially large, but the space was used very well. The bed was comfortable (there were plenty of pillows), and the bathroom was clean--we had no issues with the water pressure in the shower. The weather was quite warm in NY when we were there (in July), and the AC in the room worked perfectly. The staff at the hotel were unfailingly polite and helpful--very professional and eager to assist. The restaurant in the hotel was extremely expensive so we did not eat there, but there were several more affordable places in the neighborhood for breakfast, etc. Overall, a great hotel experience--highly recommended!

Staff was very friendly and location was great. Disappointed with the cleanliness of the bathroom. The shower curtain was moldy and the toilet outdated.

Inter-Continental was a great location for shoppping Madison Ave and 5th Ave. Many great choices for dinner that are walkable. Also, a great location for museum hoping. The room we stayed in had a non-working fireplace which added a nice coziness to the room. The room was a double and very large by NY standards. My only disappoinment was the small bathroom.

The InterContinental The Barclay New York was a wonderful place to stay. It was our third visit to New York City and the location was wonderful. It was not loud like the hotels on Times Square. We love to walk and found it convienent to Grand Central Station, Central Park, and Shopping. I will certainly stay here again when I return.
