its a nice hotel close enough to manhatten on subway line seven, there are plenty of local shops and department stores nearby and the hotel serves a pleasant breakfast if you choose and does not charge manhatten prices.

Good Location for Shea Stadium Visit Just a couple of blocks off the Linden Avenue exit of the Whitestone Expressway. Great for a Shea Stadium excursion. One can see Shea from the hotel entrance (although it's impossible to walk there). You need to walk about four blocks to the 7 Train and take it only one stop. Very convenient. On the return trip, almost everyone else is taking the 7 Train in the other direction to Manhattan while we have our train going back nearly all to ourselves.

very comfortable I found this hotel to be very comfortable and met my needs for one night. The bed rivaled many and the room was clean, roomy, and in good condition. I didn’t ask for anything, but the receptionist was very helpful at check-in. The only real uncertainty was location. I didn’t get out at all and am not sure what is around. I did like that the hotel seemed to be off a ’quieter’ street for NY.

Good Hotel Very friendly staff and a well run hotel. Just a shame its 30 mins from Manhatten. However, being in Chinatown means loads of good food about. All in all a good choice.

Good connection to wireless internet, unlike many expensive hotels in the city.

Pleasantly Surprised Seeing the hotel from the outside I was pretty nervous but upon arrival the staff was extremely helpful, the rooms were very clean and comfortable and when I needed to leave the staff arranged my transportation and even managed to alter them when I needed to leave early. Very pleasant stay. Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks Have the front desk arrange transportation, the private cab they arranged was nicer and far cheaper than a yellow cab would have been to get to the financial district on a weekday morning.
