My daughter lives just a few blocks from this hotel. Since her apt is so small, I decided a hotel was the best choice. I wasn't disappointed since I was familiar with small spaces in NYC! But actually, this hotel had very nice rooms, although small, and a roomy bathroom. I would definitely stay here again. There's a VERY nice diner just down the street too.

OK, but you could do better. The hotel is decent, good location if you want to stroll around Nolita and SoHo. No frills, however, and it was not as clean as it could be. There was a condom (used) under the bed. Maybe an anomoly?

My experience with the HOward Johnson Hotel has always been great, the prices, it is clean and the staff are very polite. Every time I go out on a trip or away for weekend I make that I do the research to find a Howard Johnson Hotel, where ever that I am traveling to.
