Great value at great location The rooms are quite small (but clean), and the absence of closet space is annoying. In any case, the value at this prime location is absolutely unbeatable.

A Good Hotel Excellent location. Hotel is close to many restaurants and to the subway. Superior room was a bit small for 3 persons (2 adults and a teenager) and the hotel upgraded us to a better room. The room size is not critical if one intends to spend most of the time sightseeing. Staff was extremely helful and courteous.

Perfect location Good value hotel in a perfect location. Walking distance to 5th avenue shopping, central park museums, grand central station, empire state building etc. Room size satisfying for two people, we got queen bed which was rather small. We requested room on a high floor and got 15th floor with fantastic views of the Chrysler building! We were pleased with our stay here, but it seems they have not got all the details quite there yet. We stayed 6 nights and they didn't change our bedlinen once. There is a coffee machine in the room and every single day we had to ask for refill which they would bring, but forgot the cups. So twice a day we had to contact reception, once for cups and once for refill of coffee. Not a big deal, but a little annoying. Tip: Reception is on first floor, ground floor is just doorman and bellman and two computers at the back for online access.

Loved the hotel I loved this hotel. The staff were so nice and willing to help me with everything I needed. The beds were fabulous!! This was a super clean hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone that will listen. The staff stood out in my mind the most, for their personable nature. They spoke to you like an old friend, recommending sites to go see. Thanks for a wonderful stay, can’t wait to stay with them again. Traveler's tip on dining I stopped by The Palace Resturant on 57th and Lexington, for a bite to eat. They had great food and a great staff. The manager was always visable, making round to check that everything was up to standards. The resturant was spotless and the atmosphere was great, with a staff that made you feel at home. We ate breakfast, lunch, dinner, and desert there and would recommend them all! Everything I tried, I loved. Perfect dining experience at an affordable price. Great casual dining.

I enjoyed my stay Across from Lincoln Center is Fiorelli's, they have an anti-pasto buffet at the bar . I had the potato pie and its made with potatoes, cheese and mushrooms and it tastes soooo good. There is also a movie theater located in this area. Outside of Hotel 57, if you make a right and head in that direction, there is a pizza place across the street and they offer all sorts of pizzas and pastas. TO the left is STarbucks. Pretty much, the hotel is located in a great location.

A great find! We live in Westchester county and just wanted to spend a night in the city. Hotel 57 worked out perfectly for us. It's a modern boutique hotel; clean with contemporary decor. Convenient to subways. No hassles. Great price and room size for this caliber hotel in NYC. Nice lounge for a late night cocktail too.
