Communication was a real problem We were not picked up at the airport because we were directed to the wrong place. There is only one pick-up spot at Newark and we were sent elsewhere. We also had to wait for the return shuttle at the hotel because it was not running on time. No one informed the waiting guests (about 20) of this until 25 minutes had passed and several people had asked about the schedule. We will stay elsewhere next time.

People there were really nice! I really enjoyed staying at the Newark Holiday Inn Hotel while I was in Newark. Everyone was really nice and even offered to show us around while me and my sisters were there. Everyone knew us there as the "Nebraska Girls!" I can’t wait to go back to Newark! Traveler's tip on shopping It’s definately worth the hassel to take your hotel shuttle back to the airport and get off at p4 and then take the coach bus to the Jersey Gardens Shopping outlet mall it was huge and amazing deals! Not to mention there’s no sales tax on clothes!!!!

Good alternative to staying in NYC The hotel was fine. The AC unit was a little loud and the room was a little dated, but everything was clean and in good order. It was very convenient to take the shuttle to the airport and get a train in to the city, and much less expensive.

Convenient This hotel was perfect for catching a very early flight out of Newark. The free shuttle to and from the airport was quick and very convenient. We were also able to safely leave our car in their lot for the time we were away. Even though the hotel was minutes from the airport, you would never know because of how quiet it was! Newark Holiday Inn - one night. Room clean and comfortable. Internet service available by wire and free. Hotel quiet with nice workout room. Food in local Establishment was very good. My only complaint is I purchased a piece of cake at the desert bar and it was in-edible. It had been in the counter for a few days and dried out - I guess you don’t get your hotel and cake too.

BAD Holet structure is not bad, but internet connection is bad, rooms are dirty and service does not exist

Planning a return trip! This hotel and its staff far exceeded my expectations. I will definitely stay there again!

Enjoyed the stay Lot of upside -- personnel at front desk very helpful; food at both restaurants good; easy to get to; airport shuttle on time when needed it; and room clean. Can’t think of any downside.

Great breakfast! We checked in after a long flight from the UK with a 2 year old and had a great nights sleep with the crib provided. But the highlight was the in-hotel restaurant which provided a solid breakfast with great service to fuel us on our onward journey.

Comfy cozy! I just stayed at this hotel one night since I was leaving from Newark early. I was visiting friends in Pennsylvania and wanted to go to NY for the day so we left the car at the hotel and took the train in to NY. Very easy. We got back late and I had an early flight but I slept soundly and comfortably. Traveler's tip for business travelers The shuttle comes by frequently and there were no delays in getting getting to the airport.
