the rooms are incredibly small; mold around the tub; area is "scary" at night- up the block from a refuge mission; way overpriced.

Stayed at this hotel from June 15-17th, 2004. Good location for lower Manhattan. About 20 minute walk to WTC site, Wall Street, and Battery Park to catch the ferry to the Statue of Liberty. This hotel is in Chinatown, really. And very close to Little Italy as well. Only problem we had was getting the car from the valet parking garage (located five blocks away) when we had an early check-out. We were left with no choice but to go get the car ourselves very early in the morning due to staff shortage. Other than that, no major issues. Would consider staying there again, but only if trip was to focus on activities in lower Manhattan. Otherwise, we suggest staying much closer to Times Square. About a 40 minute walk to Times Square from this Holiday Inn.

I stayed at this hotel for one night over new years. For starters the pictures shown on the site look nothing like the actual hotel. It was very hard to find because'the hotel exterior pictures look nothin like reality. Also, the rooms were very tiny with a not so flattering view of the city; and the beds were like sleeping on bricks. One good thing I can say about the hotel was the service, the people were kind, expecially the maids and they do a good job at cleaning the room. Over-all I would not go back to this hotel because I felt 'like I defanitly did not get my money worth for the night.

The room was clean, the mattress particularly comfortable, the bathroom was clean and easy to use and the room was QUIET. No street noise. The room was small but this is New York afterall. The location is a bit far from some of the major points of interest, but I think the price took the location reasonably into account. I think the room for the price represents an excellent value.

Price.Hotel staff was rude.“I'm allergic to down pillows and it took two tries to get one hypo-allergenic pillow, during which the person was rude. The location is not in Soho, it's just outside in what is more likely Chinatown. The room was small,...
