Holiday Inn Express New York City Fifth Avenue

The Holiday Inn express New York is very well located, most of the attractions of the city are near this hotel. Is very small but also very clean and comfortable.

Although, the rooms were a litle small, the location and the great breakfast made up for any slight inconvenience. The breakfast was called continental, but was hearty, filling and best of all was complimentary! Considering what you would have spent for breakfast in New York City---having the breakfast included made this hotel an even better value!

The Holiday Inn Express was perfect for the three of us who stayed there throughout our spring break. The hotel is close to a number of different NY attractions as well as the subway. The rooms were clean, check-in and out was extremely quick, and the staff was all friendly! The rooms are a bit on the small side, but still comfortable for the amount of time we spent in them. I would recommend the Holiday Inn Express as would I stay there again.

My room was extremely small. I had a window which opened completely with no screen. I left it open one night an was awoken by several mosquitos swarming around me. There was no room service. I called for help with my luggage upon my check out date and it took over a half hour for someone to finally come up with the luggage cart. I would choose another place next time.

The Holiday Inn Express is in a great location for Times Square, Shopping, Tours, Dining, Broadway and other tourist sites. The complementary breakfast was also very convenient and added to the value. The rooms are some of the smallest I've seen but they're very clean (basically brand new hotel) and you don't spend a lot of time there so it didn't matter to my group. I'd definitely stay there again.

I thought the hotel was great. It was clean, the staff was very pleasant and helpful when asked. It was small, but we weren't planning on spending much time in the room. The free breakfast is very good. They keep it well stocked. The view from our room was of an alleyway, so that part wasn't so good, but the location is great! We were 3 blocks from time square, 4 blocks from our theatre, and they had great restaurants close by. They also have a deli right across the street, that I used a couple of times. They were very friendly also. This place doens't have a pool, fitness center etc... but if you are looking for a comfortable place to sleep while your taking in the sites of NY, I would recommend this place.

This hotel has one of the BEST locations in NYC if you are planning a shopping, dining, theater trip. Literally around the corner from all the excitement of 5th avenue (Saks, Tiffany's, Rockefeller Center), and a short walk to Times Square, Restaurant Row, and all theaters, this is the place to stay if room size is not a priority. The double we stayed in had fantastic beds, but was the smallest room in NYC we have stayed in. We didn't care, as our purpose was not to be in the room anyway! Families would find this space difficult, and we recommend no more than 2 in a double. The young, accommodating staff will keep you laughing, and with 6 rooms to a floor you will not feel as if you are in a typical city hotel. The staff went out of their way to help guests. Convenient having the complimentary breakfast downstairs and unlimited coffee too. Subway is at Grand Central, a short walk to 42nd. If you are looking for cleanliness, friendliness, and location, this is the place to stay.

Overall, this hotel ranks right up there for a great value. I plan to return to NYC soon and I won't hesitate to stay here again. Everything went well for the week. Great job and thanks to the friendly staff of the Hoilday Inn Express.

The rooms were nice, but a little small. It is located just a few blocks from downtown, which helped save money by not using a Taxi. All in all, a pretty nice stay.
