The service is good. Food is Ok. Rooms need to be remodeled (at least mine). Location, well there is nothing to go to at a walking distance, but I guess that is the case for all the hotels in San Jose. Price is fair for what they offer. The only thing that I disliked was the mattress, it was not comfortable at all.

Very clean, very friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay. The location was very convenient to theatres and shopping. Definitely would recommend.

They were good, but neither outstanding nor sub par in any aspect.

I would not recommend this hotel!! The AC was broken in the middle of August, and not repaired for 4 days. The water temperture in the shower was horrible! This hotel is rated last on my list!!

We booked last minutes so ended up in a smoking room. Hilton policy is that all their Hotels have to have a smoking floor. Ug! Anyway, the hotel staff put an ozone machine in our room to remove the smell and that seemed to work. The hotel has recently been updated. They've done a decent job of it. The hotel breakfast (6-10AM) was serve yourself cereals/bagels/pastries/fruit salads/yoghurt and something cooked.

Our stay at Hampton Inn Times Square North was the best value I have found in New York City, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Took my mother for her first visit to the Big Apple, along with two friends. We had 2 rooms with two queen beds each, very clean, comfortable and roomy by NYC standards. The bath was small but sufficient and modern, and loved having coffeemakers and irons in each room. Free hot breakfast buffet each day was a great perk, and having free fresh coffee, tea and cocoa 24/7 in the lobby is unbelievable in a city known for a $7 cup of coffee. They even have a bag breakfasst to go available for days when you need to start out in a hurry and can't stop to sit in the dining room. The staff went out of their way to make sure everything was to our liking, and were attentive, such as the bellboy stopping to ask if the breakfasst was good, and the housekeeping staff leaving extra coffee because we said we liked it. No restaurant in house but many good choices nearby. Within an easy walk of the main Times Square and theater areas, but not in the noisiest part either.

The hotel reception and the concierge was not bad at all but it wasn't until we arrived we were informed that the restaurant was closed for refurbishment, which in itself seemed a little strange as all cutlery and crockery was still laid out on the tables as if they were ready to open. This meant that there were no refreshments as well as food available at any time. Being a person who doesn't function before the first coffee in the morning was just a little inconvenient! However, Starbucks was a stone's throw away!

I was impressed by the hotel. Staff was extremely friendly, concierge went out of his way to help us find US Open Tickets. Continental breakfast was excellent with many choices. I would stay here again without question.
