I thought the hotel was well priced for the location and the quality of the hotel. It felt comfortable, welcoming with good service. It was nice to stay in a smaller more personal hotel rather than the larger chain hotels. I would recommend this hotel as a good quality place to book. A couple of great restaurants a stone's throw away, try the Blue Smoke or the mexican basically next door, great food and atmosphere.

We took our 16 year old niece to New York for her first visit and stayed at the Hotel Giraffe. The staff was warm and attentive and every little detail in this hotel seemed well thought out. Our room (a double) was comfortable and elegant with a great view. Although the large windows and "balconette" allowed us to feel a part of the city, the room was very quiet at night. In addition to the attentive service received we also enjoyed the neighborhood. Staying in the Murray Hill/Gramercy Park area allowed us to feel even more a part of the city--truly one of the best neighborhoods in New York. When planning our trip The Giraffe Hotel was exactly what we had in mind and it exceeded our expectations.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Hotel Giraffe. All of the positive things said before are true. The friendly staff was very helpful from parking our car to giving us directions and tips on restaurants. We took a suite on the top floor next to the bar because it was ready earlier. They warned us about possible noise, but we decided we would probably be in the bar anyway so we took it -- and indeed that's the way it turned out. No problem. The morning breakfast in the lobby was relaxing and nice. Overall a very nice experience. Good value for NYC. We will definitely return.

I recently stayed is a suite with my two young daughters, 6 and 4. We are enjoyed our stay. The hotel staff was quite informative and helpful. We enjoyed the lobby and the little "nice touches" (Internet access in the lobby, Cookies and beverages all day and night, Free continental breakfast) The location and overnight valet parking for $28/24 hrs was great. The room was excellent flat screen, pull out sofa, turn down service and a piece of chocolate on the pillow. I definitely reccmmend this hotel and will stay there again. I've already told many people about this hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay at the giraffe. We were there the weekend before christmas, and its central location was perfect for us. The happy hour wine/cheese tastings were a great bonus. And our room, while not extremely spacious, was very comfortable and had enough room for our bags and for us to move about freely. I'd definitely stay at the Giraffe again!
