Our room, a studio, was barely furnished. Kitchenette but no pots, pans, flatware, dishes. I guess you ask for them. Spartan.

I liked the location of the hotel. The room was clean and the service of the staff was friendly. I disliked the noise from the city streets.

Everything about this hotel was terrible. The windows did not close or lock and there was construction outside of the windows. It felt completely unsafe. Dealing with the people at the front desk, specifically Iryna, was an awful experience. They claimed they would change our rooms, but then without actually attempting to reach us, told us that it was too late to change them when we returned to the hotel. DO NOT GO HERE!

This is a decent hotel, that seems to be trying to get better. I'm a little surprised at the 5-star and 4-star reviews written by others. If you are expecting a 4/5 star property you will be disappointed.

Exeptional location. Right down the street from South St. Seaport. Hardly any furniture in the suite. Not even a pen or small pad to write on. The bed was a metal frame with a mattress on time. Very hard. The ad said they had a lounge, it wasn't open because they didn't have a liquor license. Continental breakfast was a few pastry and coffee, no juice. Definately not worth the price they advertise.

I stayed here in May 2008 and this hotel is great! It's not the ideal location given that it's in the Financial District (and cabbies didn't seem to know where Front St was) but you're about 10 minutes from midtown. The service was great -- my second night I was scheduled to switch to a double room and had to check out at Noon. When we came back, they had already moved out luggage into our room. I highly recommend staying here for nice rooms and friendly staff. And the bar is fun too!
