Doubletree Guest Suites Times Square Nyc

This was an ideal location for families. Everything to see is right at your fingertips. Broadway.........Times Square.......Toy stores, American Girl was in walking distance. Rockefeller Center was just around the corner. I would reccomend this hotel to others.

July 8 – July 13, 2009 we had a wonderful experience at this location. The staff was great! On our first night, there was a problem with the TV. We called maintenance and they came right away and replaced our TV with a new one. When the TV went out it left a smell, dying TV smell. We asked if it was possible to change rooms. They sprayed this room and we could have stayed but they had a bellman there in less than 10 minutes to move us to another room. They were very professional, kind and accommodating - no questions asked. The staff is to be commended. Throughout our stay the restaurant staff beginning with the hostess, waiters and food prep staff went out of their way to make each meal pleasant. We had breakfast there every morning. My son looked forward to going; it was a very warm and inviting atmosphere - that says a lot coming from an eleven year old. The food was great as well. Housekeeping did an outstanding job. Our room was cleaned expertly every day. We requested extra towels and they were left daily without an additional request. The room was spotless upon our return. The bellmen were very helpful and were always asking ways to assist the guest. The concierge ladies did their job. They however did not exhibit the same warmth as the other hotel staff. There was a gentleman there on Saturday who was very helpful and greeted and assisted us with the same kindness as the other staff. The ladies did their job and were efficient, but were not helpful. They answered your questions with yes, no and I don't know responses. They also had nothing available from the hotel highlighting daily events in the city as most hotels offer. I had already mapped out most of our trip so it was not a problem, but I guess I was looking for the inside scoop from someone who lived in the city and who had experience directing guest to less advertised places. Overall we would rate our stay as the best hotel experience to date. We travel frequently and have stayed in many grand and great hotels, but the service and staff at this location are superior. Thanks for making our vacation memorable.

This is a great hotel in a great location. Times Square is where it's at and the Doubletree is right in the middle of it!!! we stayed with a family of 4 and the room was perfect. The concierge was very helpfull with directions and such. We never tried the restaurant or bar as there are so many more in NY to see. We made a housekeeping request that was answered right away and the room was always made up and clean every day. You can pay as much or more in NY for a smaller room. The safe and refer. in the room are a great plus! We will stay there again!!

I loved this hotel. The location was the best and the room was really nice. The price isn't the cheapest, but you'll find that it is worth it. I look forward to returning this summer!

The Double Tree Inn Suites is located on Times Square, Great location. Great deal, Good size room. I was within a party of 4 adults and we where very comfortable. It was my first time to New York so it was perfect for a new tourist like my self. I elected a non-smoking room & unfortunately I didn't have a city view but Hotel Staff was great, Rooms where clean although the couches where semi stained. I would definitely reccommend this hotel to family & friends. This is walking distance to Macy's, Rockefeller Center, Central Park, Madison Square Gardens, Radio City and many more great tourist spots.

Not enough towels.Micro wave did not work.The refrigator did not keep anything cool.Maybe I would stay there again, only if I just need a play to sleep, and not plan to do any resting.

This hotel seems to be aimed at people who just want somewhere to stay without much fuss. The people are courteous and can send you in the right direction for things to do in New York but they aren't the overbearing type, good in my book. The room was clean and had fine appointments but is more on the regular hotel side of things than The Muse or other slightly higher end hotels. The advantage of the room was the nice size of it, it had two rooms so there was plenty of space to work. If you get the right room you will also have an excellent view of Times Square which can be a boon for newcomers to New York. It was a very quiet hotel room but even on the 33rd floor I could hear the garbage trucks, it would have to be soundproof to not hear those.

Most important think it is the service....its verry nice and eficient and the location its good , whatt can y say....go there and you will see...Its EXCELENT.

The Double Tree is in the heart of Times Square and NY City action. As soon as you step out of the front door you are met with a rush of NY City life! If you are looking to be in the middle of it all, there is no better location. The hotel is clean and modern. It has stylish decor, and a more upscale feel than I expected. Our room was very clean and in good condition. Our first night we discovered a light bulb was out in the bath. The next morning when we returned from breakfast, the bulb had been replaced. We never notified the maintenance, so we figured the house keeper most have taken care of it. The room service staff was excellent, and very friendly. We were a little disappointed that room service was not available after midnight. We only dined in the dining room once. we had breakfast there and found the food to be average, and the service to be slow. For the price, I would not recommend breakfast at the hotel. In terms of safety, we felt safe both entering and exiting the hotel, and staying in the room. This a a very busy hotel, so there is always lots of activity day ad night. The entrance is well lit (Times Square!) Overall, we would recommend Double Tree Times Square if you are looking for a hotel that is in the heart of Time Square, is clean, safe, and has friendly staff.

Everything as describe, BIG, CLEAN room in a NY hotel. GREAT for a family, you can't found a room this size in NY for that PRICE!
