    good hostel for Awsome Price location is awesome right next to central park and easy for me to get to and close to subway. if you are a student and is looking for some cheap travel deals this is the place to go to. conditions are average but what do you expect its a hostel. got a great deal as i got a room with two beds. but both beds are for me to use while i only paid for one.

    Television in room didn't work, door could not be locked, shared bathroom pretty filthy. Booked for 7 nights checked out afer 2.Wouldn't stay again, wouldn't recommend.

    Make sure you know it's a hostel, not a hotel, and you'll be fine. Only the lack of a nice common Room / area (they only have a TV Room), the worn matrasses and that you have to pay for everything else (lockers cost 5$, doesn't matter if it's 1h or 24h) is a minus.

    Not Impressed For a hostel, this hostel was cleaner than expected and allowed prvacy. If that is what is most important than the hostel is okay. However, I was not able to sleep all night do to noise and talking. Our room was freezing because the window would not close fully and there wasn not any heat control. The beds were extremely uncorfortable, but clean. Lastly, if you are from New York, even if it is not New York City, you are not allowed to stay in the hostel. I would not reccommend staying here if you want quality sleep.

    Continental Hostel The overall is alright. But the receptionist was so rude(the one without glasses). She cut me before I even finished my sentence. HOwever, the room was really clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were also very clean. I think they cleaned it three or four times a day.

    Not bad for the price and location The place was cheap, clean and located within two blocks of the subway station in Manhattan. The place is in need of paint and some TLC. The rooms were small and depressing but also comfortable. But I would hope that you are not coming to New York to hang out in your hotel room. The service was also great.

    Good for the price The room was clean and so was the bathroom. The staff that helped us were nice and for the price it was good. I would recommend the hostel for young people or those who just want a place to stay that is cheap and safe.

    Highly-recommended Hostel Get a streetwise map of manhattan before you get there, the glossy-covered map is easy to fold,index of the streets, subway & bus lines, and local attractions Get an unlimited ride 7-day or 30 day metro card, it's better to get for the one-time rate than when you think you need it
