The size of room is not suitable for two beds. Not worth the price that I paid.

Better than Expected I researched many hotels for around this price range and found that the recommendations for this hotel were the best overall. They exceeded that. Small rooms ( like all in NYC) but very good service and cleanliness. Just off Broadway and close to subway.

The staff was somewhat friendly and helpful. The breakfast area was in the bar and the cleaniness of it was horrible. The gentlemen that was suppose to be taking care of it was more interested in watching the news than cleaning tables as well as restocking food. Then one day, we had to go around the corner to a bistro cafe for breakfast because of remodeling in the bar...incidently, the next day, I didn't notice any difference other that the ceral dispenser. Anyway, at the bistro cafe, we only could get one pastry item and coffee where at the motel, we could have as much as we wanted. Next thing, is the internet. My room as well as others that I talked to had NO INTERNET even though the front desk said that we were suppose to. They even sent the computer person to my room to test it. He said that he could get on but I still couldn't. He came when we were not there, so I could never verify that he even came at all. So, I had to get dressed and go to the lobby every night just to check my email. I also, seen other people down in the lobby checking their emails too.

A good value. Not the most elegant hotel in New York city, but clean, comfortable and convenient to Midtown.

Best value hotel in New York We go to New York at least once a year and have stayed at the Comfort Inn in Chelsea for the last couple of years - and fully intend on staying there on our future trips! Perfectly positioned for Union Square, East Village, Greenwich Village etc and close to a subway station. The beds are huge and supercomfortable and the showers are great.

The Comfort Inn in Chelsea, We have never stayed in New York, it was very scarey to come to such a big place. Our children gave us tickets to see Eric Clapton for our Birthday gifts. We arrived and ther was no parking they said we could park up the street for a reduced rate. The man at the garage was very kind and our car was safe. The hotel was very small but very intimate. Ther were so many kids staying there they were very nice. We got checked in first. The elevator was so cute. We got to the room and were so surprised it was very nice for such an old hotel.. We looked out the window and saw the empire State Building it was a beautiful site an old Russian church across the street from us . The people at the desk were great and so very helpful.. We had a wonderful 2 days. I cant wait until we can go again. We walked from our hotel to Madison Square Garden it was not that far. There were great stores even on our own block..What a great trip..

common areas need work, but room 1107 was large and well kept Stayed here while taking the Bar Exam. Rm 1107 was spacious and nice. The neighbor's tv was right next to the desk wall so difficult to study but overall a good room.

NIce - Small NY - But nice The room is a bit small, but they are able to get two chairs in there, and a clean bathroom. Could use a faster elevator though.
