Okay for what it is. The only real issue I encountered was that the Fitness Center, advertised as 24-hours, was closed by 9 PM on a Saturday night (no after-dinner workout) and would not re-open until around 8 AM or so the next morning. And they would not open earlier, since the "the guy with the key is not here until then." As I was checking out at 8 AM to get to work, that was not helpful. The room phone did not work, which was not an issue for me, but may have been if someone were planning to use it. I found that what was advertised was not necessarily delivered as services, but the staff was generally pleasant and the location (walking across the parking lot to Riverside Mall) was second to none for convenience. Breakfast was fine and readily available. Ask for fruit if you do not see it laid out!

Japanese restaurant and breakfast The Continental Breakfasts were great here except the waffle iron and microwave kept blowing the circuit breaker on the breakfast table. The Japanese restaurant was outstanding and the reason why we stay here especially when we are hosting Japanese friends that fly in to NYC. It is so easy to locate the hotel and zip over to NYC for sightseeing but shop in NJ where there is no taxes! Traveler's tip on shopping Stay here to run into NYC easily or shop tax free at the many NJ malls or outlets located nearby.
