+ staff courtessy, free tea and cofee...breakfast, shuttle

A great hotel if you need to be next to JFK airport. They also offer a free shuttle service to and from the airport and a continental breakfast. It is very far from Times Square which will cost about U.S $65 one way from the hotel in a cab.

NOT IMPRESSED The hotel had very limited parking, the mattress was the most uncomfortable thing i have ever slept on there was a match in between the sheets of the bed (in a non-smoking room!) The room was the size of a shoe box and the noise in the halls in the early morning was awful!!! I would not recommend this hotel for any one

+ The morning manager was wonderful, so helpful and sweet. the room was clean and the bed was comfortable, though there was an odd smell when we entered. the continental breakfast is nothing extraordinary, but it does the job and tea and coffee are available 24 hours. location is great if you want to be close to the airport. but if you want to get into the city, give yourself 2 hours! between the shuttle to the train station and the subway, it takes a long time. - Night clerk was a bit crabby and unprofessional, but most night clerks are, right? room smelled odd.

Convenient location and good price if you need a place to stay near JFK airport. I'd go there again.

- for the number of people trying to get to the hotel at 12am the complimentry shuttle service was really poor, as it only took 6-8 people at a time and at 12am with 50 people waiting theres some unhappy and inpatiant people

+ location, shuttle to airport - shuttle from airport - waited 1/2 hour in the middle of the night, there was construction in the rooms above our room and they commenced every morning at 8:30am - this is unacceptable

Quick Stop I had a quick stopover and JFK. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and value for New York. I had to leave too early to try the breakfast. The shuttle service was timely and efficient.

For a one night stay en route from the UK to Australia this was a very acceptable hotel. The night shift male receptionist was charming and helful, the room was small but clean, the room facilities were very good, the king sized bed was very comfortable, there was free broadband internet and the complimentary breakfast gave plenty of choice. I would have no hesition in staying there again on an overnight stay between destinations.
