The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The neighborhood was a little scary. There was not a lot of people when walking to the hotel. There was a lot of buildings being built and the walk to time square smelt like urine. The hotel was awesome for the money. The rooms were small but who cares. It was clean new and the staff was friendly what else can you ask for! Very close walking distance to timesquare. Great place, I'd stay at again!

Dirty, small, loud, disgusting. Never stay here. It is 4th rate at best! I was forced to stay here. It has been horrible. Nassau county lock up is probably a step above.

The rooms were a little small but very clean. The staff was very friendly. Continental breakfast is served in the AM. Rooms are cleaned daily. Free internet via ethernet. They will supply the cord if you forget yours. The location is around the corner from Javits and walking distance to Time's Square. All in all my stay was a positive experience.

Room was cheap enough - that' the only reason to get it. It is tight in terms of space. Neighborhood not that great. Restaurants are a few blocks away - not close. Only reason I chose this spot was that it's close to Javits, for my business trip. Not sightseeing in 2 days, but if I were, would have been closer to midtown. This was not a quiet area - traffic and trains are noisy - so if you don't sleep like a rock, you'll need earplugs. If you don't mind walking a few city blocks for your meal and don't mind the loud trains/trucks, book it.

The staff were so helpful and hospitable they could out "nice" Minnesota "nice." The location was extremely convenient for business travel to the Javits Conference Center. Very good restaurants were within blocks, and some very inexpensive too-- what a shock in NYC! A great Thai restaurant, an Italian, and they delivered to the Hotel for no extra charge, or you could buy 2 big slices of pizza and a Coke for $5.00, the same price as a cup of Starbucks at the Javits Center! There's a DHL shipping center across the street too. If you use a GPS system, be sure to mark Manhattan as the city, not NYC or you'll end up in Queens. I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel may have small rooms, and no pool, but it deserves a higher rating than 2*'s.

This hotel was great. My husband and I travelled to NYC for a long weekend. We got into the hotel early and they held our bags for us ($1/bag fee and they were totally guarded.) The location is very accessible to midtown, Times Square, subway, Port Auth, Penn Station. The block the street is on is undergoing a lot of construction and condos are being built, but 2 blocks away on 8th ave starts all the fun. The rooms were small, but who goes to the city to hang out in a hotel room. For this price you aren't going to find a room any larger or one with a bathroom. What a steal at $150 a night from Priceline! Would go back in a heart beat and stay here!
